Thank you for the video. Yes, her coach has been heard on court shouting to keep up the antics to frustrate opponents. For the damage to the sponsored racket by Yonex, deduct sponsorship price. For her deliberate return of shuttle off the court or further for opponent to pick it up, minus a point following a warning. After previous warning and still do again, minus 2 points. However, these penalties are not in the rule book which only have the yellow card for misconduct and red card for one point deduction after issuance of yellow card. So, what is the best remedy to "tame" her, tell her and opponent before game the rules and that this verbal instruction is to be treated as a yellow card warning before the line judge as witness?

A lot of players express their frustrations in tournaments, but a lot of the times are frustrations at themselves. Some people talk about for example, Axelsen's "bad attitudes", but as far as I'm concerned, he does not disrespect his opponents. We don't see a lot of attacks towards the opponents or the umpires in badminton. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that Carolina Marin is the culprit of the majority of these provocations in badminton. I believe that she tries to be hated.

What I am trying to say is that "athletes shouldn't rely on cheap tricks" to win. But that is also a very vague statement "what is considered cheap tricks? To what extent is allowed for an athlete to do without being disrespectful towards the opponent?". I cannot give an answer, in the end of the day, I probably am just a hater giving myself excuse for hating pkayers like Kevin and Marin.

If you think about it, her achievement is really extraordinary. She won few worldchampionship and Olympic. But nobody will see a world/Olympic champion, instead just a sore loser who is loud. " is hated" I watch badminton to see athletic skill and strategy. If I wanted screaming, bad behavior, taunting and such, I would watch politics. I watch and if she starts screaming, I turn it off. Officials need to make clear to players that the game has dignity, or at least it should. BWF and tournament directors know this has been her history. Maybe injury, age, and sponsors reactions will help her mature.

First, I agree that she is really talented and got a lot of good results for Europe especially in this sport, which is dominated by Asian countries.
But I don’t like her. And there is another thing missing from here is that she is abusing other players verbally. I cannot forget what she said after the match against Li Xuerui in OG. Just imagine when she got the serious injury and people say she is faking.
