    Hi Rob and those coaches came out so well, I love the fact that you did each one to a slightly different degree of weathering which of course is how they would have been. The panel lining adds so much to it too, I have been meaning to try that myself and now I have seen you do this then I will definitely give it a go. Top work my friend and thank you for showing us you technique. Cheers for now mate. ………….Graham

      Hi Graham, I am surprised you haven't tried panel lining. I use the technique on more than one thing. You should try it it. Thank you my friend, I am glad you liked the video, Thank you very much, Rob

    Hi Rob
    Well demonstrated and weathering does make a difference. Those oil brushes are excellent I have a few myself too.
    Cheers Kev

    Just found this video Rob, nice weathering! I never thought of using Sky Blue, I've always faded with whites and Buff colours but that Sky Blue looks spot on!

      Yes, it does seem to match very well. Certainly whites and greys have their place, but the sky blue is very and easy. Thank you, Rob

      Hi, Scott, It can be fun. I started in earnest on my n scale stock. I got fairly confident with that and felt easy about tackling the more expensive OO. Best of luck and thank you so much, Rob

    Beautiful job on those Rob. I have the same sort of results with the panel line marker, it either doesn't flow or it flows everywhere. David.

      Hi David, Thank you Sir. I decided to leave the big blob in and the other goofs too. One side went perfectly the other was a mess. I just wanted folks to see that it was okay if it happens. They can recover. Thank you so much, cheers, Rob

    Very well done Rob, I can see me following the procedure you have shown. How are you these day? I had people becoming rude about the way I talk, not bothering to ask me why...Take care...Simon

      Hi Simon, How nice to hear from you. How is the new shed coming along? How about the track plan? People being rude?? I get that all the time, sometimes they are vicious dogs about it. You can guess what I say to myself about them. Rude people...it might be the pandemic I guess. It is fairly easy to weather this variety of coach. Thank you so very much, Rob

      Hi Rob, the shed is taking longer than I expected, cannot get workers easily where I live. It seems to be on track, excuse the pun, for the end of July. I have purchased a number of books about track plans, which I will be using alongside Anyrail...simon

    HI Rob some good tips there on the weathering, looks great. is your spray booth made by yourself or is it a bought in item

    • @FarlandHowe
      @FarlandHowe  2 года назад +1

      Hi Dave, The paintbooth came from Amazon although since I acquired it I have seen them from many other places. The filter traps the paint but the thinners go out into the air. That is why I like paints that thin well with spirit. Thank you so much, Rob
