@@markhep sound looked a tidy job it did it’s insulated cavity so would be sound ye?👍reason asked if it was a old build no cavity 9inch brick 🧱 them insulated boards the way to go ye?
@@mickydola6472 Yere we insulated cavity wall when we built it. But yes if it would have been a nine inch solid. Probably would have gone for 50mm or more on gable 👍👍👍
@@markhep sound mate am in a old house having issues with damp no cavities just brick on brick I need to knock it back to the brickwork and either damp proof membrane it or use that insulated plaster board to stop it and get abit of warmth in winter terrible summer sound.was just hoping on how maybe you would tackle and go abar it
@@mickydola6472 I would probably use insulated plaster board like you. And maybe put dryzone damp proof in the ground floor. You can stick the boards on the walls with plasterboard foam good stuff and stops damp travelling through keeps it off wall a bit 👍
Finally, it’s practically a house you built ! Great job guys ! 👍

Does wiring a smoke a detector in T&E comply with regs? I thought they had to be run in FP
I am not sure mate .the sparky puts the electric in for us I don't know a grate deal about electrics 👍👍
Interesting. Never done any attic work, but I know they need extra effort with the insulation, they can get damn hot here in summer.
Bet they do mate. Yes they make us put plenty of insulation in. Between the trusses and 25mm over the top👍👍👍
That’s a good way to do it yes ;) nicely done !
well done !
Thanks mate 👍
