Very interesting, especially, if you have to print multiple pieces and they stabilize each other!

On the print-lines question. To relate to a fix. Viscosity/Temp/Exposure Time all relate. I had print lines appear with lower temps and subsequent increase in exposure because of low temp. But I think it may have less to do with exposure time and more to do with viscosity and reactivity of the resin. Mostly because additional problems were over-exposed (growth) of models and even more the resin became so viscous (thick) that it would cling to supports and you had the problem of build up around supports. Literal divots.
All of which was solved by simply installing a temp controlled vat-heater. Once that was done I could go right back to printing as I would during summer. Printing below 80F is going to result in less reactive and often extremely thick resin, which will cause all kinds of mayhem from print lines to over-growth, resin clinging to surfaces and making them grow over time (from light bleed). It's just terrible. How terrible really depends on the resin in use. But some get thicker than quality syrups.

Your timing is impeccable. I was just revisiting a set of print projects that I need to do exactly this with. The artefacts were never bad enough that I bothered trying to find a fix, but I definitely will be trying this on my next batch! Thank you, as always.

Just rewatching this video because I have to support something straight. I saw that in your other video:
5 tips for orientation, you mentioned that printing straight can use the fep to get dry, so increasing exposure and lift height is needed. My model is only 2mm in wall thickness so I think it might be ok? I might have missed it if you mentioned it in the video again.

@@brendon6930 it depends on the situation on model.
All i can say is try it.

What size support tip should I use for stabilizing? 0.4mm, 0.3mm?
