- This 1978 Airstream Sovereign started out piss-poor. We even felt the need to document how poor the original repairs were in this video:
• Piss-poor Vintage Airs...
In this update video, Brandon and Dan show what the team at Reparadise did to make this example of a vintage Airstream a mid-century modern marvel. Walnut hardwood highlights contrast white finishes, while high-tech electrical like 960watts of Zamp Obsidian Solar and a 24v battery bank ensure this Airstream is ready for a family of four to live off grid in style.
Reparadise is an award-winning restoration and customization shop in SLC, UT. specializing in all things wheeled, from Vintage Airstream to modern Sprinter Vans.

This is one of the BEST conversions I have seen that DON'T include painting everything white , it is all bespoke and so beautiful. well thought out design thinking of the customers needs .
So much white! Thanks for the Kind words.
Lost for words, just beautiful. Truly next level stuff guys!

Walnut not only look's awesome, it also sounds awesome. My Tama snare drum is made from black Walnut...... It's truly beautiful and useable wood.

who did the hack work???
They're another builder, still hacking up Airstreams... we're not going to name names, but be sure to vet any company you're working with!
How much did this restoration cost?
It clocked just over 2k Shop hours. Our going rate right now is $145hr
@@Reparadise Yikes! I guess it was worth it to them!
@@Reparadise wow and that's just the labour, but lovely work.
Terrible rebuild. composting toilet sucks. Decor is straight out of a prison. Refrigerator is way too small, top bunk bed is not safe for small kids, making master bed will get old, where do the blankets go? We lived in a 1976 for thirteen years and the original layout is great. We had two kids and a dog and did fine.
thanks for the info :thumbs up:
@thomas...Nah!. You need to chill with your vitriol 'cos that's not even close to an opinion. This rebuild was hands-on deck with the client and that's how they wanted. Bruh 😎.
@@COO415 I didn't comment on what they wanted, I commented on what I saw.
