As an interior designer, August has filled his home with some fantastic small space design tricks, turning an old 1968 Airstream Land Yacht into a fully functional and practical home on wheels. It’s off-the-grid design means that the airstream can be just as home while on the road as it when parked up.

Yes I enjoy how the right questions are asked often times. The intellect of Bryce, his gf, and the various homeowners make this channel one of the best. I'd say the best for tiny living. Very interesting stories and interviews with all walks of life. You know they've got it down now. Excellent observations. I remember when I watched all the videos, that's when I subscribed. Now its endless fun. It's wonderful to see a new video from them (especially this unique) whenever I need a creative fix! =)
Wow! Totally opposite view! I thought questions were rehearsed like several times before the shoot and they kinda blurted out in the video! The owner though good seems least enthusiastic to show the home, probably bcoz of his low voice- tone. The host seems to fake it, he probably seen it inside out several times to practice.
PS: the content of the show is fantastic I'm a fan.
@@SinghAaditya I agree to a certain point. It did feel rehearsed to me and that's the only part that bothered me. The questions were good and the transition and flow would've been better if it was more natural :) Other than that, I'm thankful I get to watch such fascinating videos! This channel is a bit special to me

Airstream is gorgeous, clean design, no cracking paint. Top quality. 1968 was a good year and it shows premium workmanship! Love working with wood.
Bryce is standing up fully in that space, I was really expecting him to be bent a little bit. This is a great build :-)

Minimalism is great but is not for everyone. Wanting to have a nice life has nothing to do with greed: it's human nature. I have a small trailer I take with me and spend some times weeks or even months in it. I have many good memories there. But after a while is boring and difficult to be in such a small space with such little things. Then I am happy to go back to my big house, on a big plot that I own and nobody can tell me to go away. Take a nice full size shower or a bath, have some nice clothes to chose from and prepare a super meal using all appliances and space of my kitchen. That's not greed, it's called Comfort.

This is one of the best designed Airstream/trailers I have ever seen. What I see is a man who has a whole lot going for him, talent in design, carpentry, and a wonderful personality. Wherever you go your beautifully designed home will follow. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. I am so impressed.
I really like how his brain thinks and organizes things. It's everything you need and nothing you don't. Clean, simple, minimalist style in an ever so small package. I'm sure it wasn't easy though the result looks effortless.
This was one of those, "well it's not my style, but maybe I'll convert" homes. He designed & executed so exquisitely it is a work of art. So, too with his songwriting & singing. A very interesting guy-so clear in his vision.
The song at the end should be the theme of Living Big In A Tiny House.
Its a treasure because he rebuilt it, but even more sentimental because of the family heirloom. Talented man! Thanks for sharing!

Can't believe how lux August made his vintage heirloom look. He has a very sophisticated aesthetic that looks so polished from the inside. I can see how comfortable living in it would be.

Some time I will let you know how much this program helps me developed something quite different,seemingly. It gives me courage as an older person who did everything from twentyseven room historical Italianate Villa to several three story homes and gardens to a small trailer and then mobel home home. From early childhood my dream was to do something like this,the nearest was a Volkswagen Kombi. He has done an exceptional home stamped with his own thumbprint. I am grateful. Thank you for your making it easy for him and us to visit. Rasa,such good filming,too

A tiny house 💓 with wheels is my dream since I was child. I spoke about my desire of having a house without walls and with wheels. I never thought it is really possible and so charming opportunity absolutely available to everyone. I can' t wait to rejoin my love, who is right now homeless in Canada, and build up our home asap. This is a place I could live; no lofts to climb up, everything neat and clean and all the basic necessities. I love that bed and the compact kitchen.

Just did the same with our 76 Airstream. All Eco friendly including a wood burning stove. Composting, and all re purposed materials. He did a great job. Living a minimalism life is the best.
