Finally got around to doing another rapid fire video guide. Did not enjoy it in S4, but probably my favorite build of S5 as true ranged play is achievable again!

EDIT: Got some actual good upgrades on the skyhunter and now we're criting for 1.7 bil fully buffed per arrow. Over 2 bil per arrow is possible with 3 passive ammy. What's your rapid fire hitting for? Share the wealth!
build seems really good, wish there was something comparable for melee, it's either spam with flurry or wind up with twisting blades, no really sick instant burst like this that i'm aware of ?
Thanks for the build. I went through 5 different RF builds before this one, and this was the first that allowed me to clear T7 hordes. Everything else was getting me gimped with one shot mechanics.
Being able to do T7 is HUGE for progression!
Used your build on max role , saw this video and changed some of the stuff you mentioned , and man i am melting the uber boses now , already have some of the mythic uniques , and im going to change it some more . This build of yours is nuts ! Thanks

@jk76111 yah its so weird . Maybe with masterworking certain stats it would make a difference but im not sure ...

Thank you D for the Heartseeker variant of the build. I hate that using the other talent makes you have to fight up close and personal. Heartseeker eliminates that and becomes a homing missile so thats great. This will enhance my leveling process towards 100 now that this build is going to be swapped when I get out of work

i used your build planner and this still abloutly demolishes. It also works really good with Yen's Blessin, almost infinite cold imbument casts

I see myself barely using Caltrops in Infernal waves especially in T7.. Anything i can replace it with?
need help , i cant seem to see the difference between your ring or the uber starles skies ? does it make a difference or should one rather keep the legendary ring ?
I totally despise caltrops as a skill. I have been running shadow imbue for hordes and honestly, it's been doing much better blowing everything up. Me not using caltrops means that using that trap paragon board is a waste. I wonder what's the solution
After trying it, I have to agree, this feels way better than Caltrops.

i also hate caltrops so i opted to go for concealment for unstoppable and 100% crit after coming out of it as well. deleted the ambush board, and went to glyph on his 6 board with infusion for more imbued skill damage but there were quite a few other juicy options defensive or offensive lots kind of work out for rapid fire as far as i can see!

Why not run conceited aspect? Since you have barrier? 38% extra damage on amulet. Just curious…love the build.

your planner not the same as your max roll tier list build with puncture the one you wrote
I explained that in the video. Also, the planner has different variations. Open up the drop down and click on the "S5 Heartseeker RF" version.
@@DiEoxidE i re watched it so you said you have to replace it at the end? so the planner is the one we follow now?
The "S5 heartseeker RF with mythics" planner is the same thing as I did in the video except I have dex gems in armor (not recommended, go rubies like in the planner). That's it.

For armor reduction, is there any benefit to overcap or just add DR by other means ? Great vid, playing your barrage set up now will swap bc those level 8 hordes are looking smooth in this vid
Anyone having issues being so squishy? Tier 5 Infernal Hordes keeps killing me, got max res and armor with 25k life.

Tyr’s might is your answer. I literally was having the same problem and now I can solo t7. Crafted it after dropping 2 shakos (blessed by the RNGods lol). Though grouping is much more efficient

Thanks for the guide DiEoxidE. I'm using your build (puncture instead of heartseeker) and am 12/12 masterworked. The only gear differences are that Im using 4 rubies instead of emeralds, and my ammy is +max life, +5 frigid finesse, +3 unstable elixirs. I get through T8 hordes fine but, it's taking WAAAYY longer to kill council. I can't chunk council HP on T8 like you do in your video. Do you know what the issue is? Should I swap out unstable elixirs for malice on my ammy?
Same issue. Followed the build to the letter and the kill time on T8 for the council isn't even close to what was shown in the video for me. I'm not sure what I need to tweak

Been playing the barrage build and struggling with being one shotted and damage feels weak when trying t6 or higher, any suggestions would be appreciated
I have a barrage guide coming soon as well (video). Mainly you want to play around the totem. Damage reduction pretty much needs to be tyraels might or dark shroud chest (with umbrous aspect on pants).
For the heartseeker RF build, could you replace cowl with shako?
What’s the DPS drop if you switch ? Trying to see if more survivability is worth the loss of cowl.

What is causing the effect on the heartseaker animation? Mine is just a single arrow line but this is multiple.
He's wearing the Tyriel's Might mythic unique chest that shoots holy bolts whenever you cast any skill while at full health.

I only started playing last season so im sorry if I should know this. How do you have dark shrouds around you all the time if you dont have the ability on one of your 6 slots? Is that codex you use the only way your getting them?

So I'm just pure heart seeker right now, lvl 55. At what point should I transition into rapid fire? I probably need scoundrels 1st?

Its funny to see the crown uf lucien bug being active... With the other helmet you get 10-20 mil dmg per arrow and with crown (which should be more) you barely get 10 mil.
Hi! Thanks for the video, now, thing is that i have tyraels, the mythic ring, and the shaco. Now how can i balance it to be able to do those damages xD, should i discard the use of those? And follow it just as it is? Im having problems even getting the temper imbuement for the cold, and i farmed ALOT, any advice?
@DanielGomez-pw1lf shako and starless you don't need at all. It's actually a damage loss.
The cold tempers are hard to get though, totally understand.
Sigh.. I really wish there was some way to do a rapid fire/poison build of some sort. Tbh, this is my first ever Diablo game I’ve played and I haven’t really looked up any guides or had any help at all but I’ve noticed after me and my bf play we were both ‘kind of struggling’ until I got my harli’s helmet and him finally looking up a build guide. Now he’s doing hundreds of billions in damage and I’m not even hitting in the tens of millions 🥲 So that’s why I’m here.. I just wish there was a way I could have the stats I want and it work out, like I can do pits above 90 by myself but the difference in damage between me and him is just ludicrous…

@@DiEoxidE sigh.. Just gotta wait months for something that should’ve been possible from the get go /: I don’t like the idea of not being able to choose the skills they give us and it being viable. It’s either follow this build or don’t progress at all.. it worked until I started doing end game shit, like the pits I can do but seeing people do billions and or half billions in damage while I’m only doing millions I don’t even think I’m hitting tens of millions. I have 4 mythics atp and they’re the only thing that stopped me from dying which was a huge problem but now damage is the problem which it was never a problem before

I'm thinking of making the switch from barrage to rapid fire. I'm wondering if it's worth it. Anyone have any experience with this swap? I'm probably gonna do it regardless after going 1-100 with barrage I might as well change it up, especially since basically all the gear transitions and all I need is cowl (ran 6 zirs and didn't get one).
I switched at 8/12 mw. Barrage lets me run through almost any content (horde, pit) but the boss fights are insanely long.. with or without totem. I switched to RF and have more trouble clearing horde mobs but I can mow down tormented/pit bosses now. I still like the feel of playing barrage better but it blows not killing bosses

Tried playing this without Tyraels and the damage is insane but can't survive the damage of t6+. Are rogues stuck waiting for Tyraels or are there other builds that can push in the meantime?
You can do a GA Dark Shroud chest.
I'm playing this without tyraels or ds chest and can do t6 np. T7 I can't clear mobs fast enough and get overwhelmed by ranged junk when I stop to fire. Mostly 8/12 mw but weps 12/12
Same issue here. Seems tyr’s might is the answer here to get to soloing T7 as stated by above comments
Guys, in this build, which helm would be more worth using? Shaco or Cowl of the Nameless?
I already have Tyrael's Might and I managed to drop Shaco now, I know that last season Shaco was practically a core item, but what about this new season? Is it still viable to use it?

I'm using your Barrage build from maxroll and it rocks in clearspeed due to Trick Attacks passive, but I can't activate it in boss fights so the damage is very low and it takes minutes to clear a T7/T8. Any advice on there? Waiting for your next video :)
Have to play around the totem, like hug the totem next the bosses.
With that said, it still won't have the single target damage that RF has, but it's a little better once you can ricochet your barrage shots off totem.
Looks like you don't use Dark Shroud but max it out. Is there some reason for that?
With umbrous aspect you get dark shroud so putting points into it in the skill tree gets you alot of damage reduction

I got Shako and the Melted Heart of Selig. Would you recommend to destroy these two mythic to creat Tyraels Might?
Never destroy a Shako feels just wrong. You get 3 from season/lillith/first lvl200 uber. So you only need to salvage the Selig

@banyartibor8017 you have to build around andariels to make it work.
Since precision key passive is based on crit damage and crit damage doesnt work with Andy's poison effect, then it's no good.

I am playing a geared out Andy’s barrage build would you say this is better? I loved rapid fire in the past…
It's really close between the two, but Andy's is significantly easier to play so it's considerably easier to get good results in inferno horde content with its massive AoE.
For bossing, rapid fire is king. If you've played rapid fire in the past and that's your thing, definitely give it a shot at some point (but continue to enjoy Andy's for now as that's a great build as well).
How many plus rapid fire stats do you need on gloves for the build to shine on T8 horde?

Shroud of Khandurous for easy dark shroud ranks or regular chest with dark shroud ranks and concussive strikes passive.

So I tried the build and is insanely crazy!! I’m not at max lvl (masterwork) everything is at lvl 10-11 but I when from doing NM 65 to 100 with no problem !!!! But there is a but!!
Now when I’m fighting a boss sometimes it looks like my rapid fired doesn’t work because it looks like you are shooting arrows but nothing comes out then hands !! Have you experience that little problem ?

I've tried this exact build with Starless Skies.. the lack of additional cold imbuement charges (from tempering) really seem to gimp the dps boost you get from starless. The build isn't really demanding on resources either so the buff you get from starless skies seems like it doesn't fit well with the build overall

Update, I've been running starless for a bit and it feels ok with the damage multiplier. Downside is the lack of imbuement charges, and it takes longer to proc the barrier.

@MJ-Assassin it's more a trade off - see what's more important to you. But leaning towards legendary, cos you gotta sacrifice the repeating aspect as well
Edit: tested it on pit 100 and t6 infernal hordes legendary is better

I gave up looking for uniques after seeing how bad is my luck. I farmed infernal hordes for gold and bought them from other players. I couldn't drop Cawl of the nameless for a week and I could get it for 50M gold that you make in 10mins in T5/T6.
