I was blown away by the stunning scenery in this vlog! 😮 The calming Bahamas and peaceful atmosphere are so alluring, I'm already planning my next vacation. Like and support from Goa.
@@adventurecrews I was expecting a return trip the day after the challenge to get the good bottle of rum. Cole was literally drooling holding that bottle.
I started binge watching you about 3 weeks ago. Started with the video you said to start on. Loving the content, but I just wondering what is the percentage of the time have you actually been “under sail”?
If you get to know some friendly locals you’d spend way less money, because as a resident of Nassau $50 to go to the airport is a complete RIP OFF!! I was shocked and disappointed when I heard how much they were charging you’ll.. But hope to see you back soon! Please don’t be discouraged
Mcdonalds breakfast lol....water taxi to paradise island $5 per peson......land taxi from paradise island to port same...,lunch bahamian bistro with luck its a $7 menu and was right there through corner of bank after the cake can also get a drink....and i think you still have spare for horse amd carriage and souvenir 😅
@@adventurecrews will be honest. There is not much great tours on the island of new providence itself, because there are many exciting things to see there.....the forts, queens staircase, atlantis, the caves. Also a nice little pirate tour thing talking about the history of the pirates in the bahamas downtown and checking out the fish fry. These things are easy to get to via taxi or rental car. Everyone just leaves for the cays, like the swimming pigs or Pearl island, day excursions to other islands which to me is much better. I would take that berry islands tour you guys did over anything in nassau
@@adventurecrews ive done the museum many hears ago, was very informative, pretty cool wax figures. Not sure the price now but i wouldnt spend more than $8-$10 for it. $10. Being generous because workers have to get paid
@@janhorn331 im not sure, but the berry islands is a small chain of islands north of nassau new providence. So im guessing depending where the tour originates from it has something to do with visiting that island. Ive never been there but im interested in building a vacation home there in future. I also saw a cruise ship there while passing over by plane so if your on a cruise there maybe they take you around the island. No major infrastructure not alot of roads just bush, blue holes, nice beach, good fishing grounds its a very beautiful place but not much there but peace and relax
Hey hey!! Thank you so much and welcome to the party! I hope you can take the time to watch everything and get caught up on our journey! Where are you watching from?
Hi, I am planning to visit Bahamas in September but I am very confused with hotel, food, sort drink, taxi & public transport, so for a solo female traveller which side will be best to see all attractions? Also, I have 3 hotels in my mind which are Warwick, Comfort Suit and Breezes, I can’t decide which one to book as I don’t want to end up spending too much money on taxis, I am sightseeing lover. Any recommendation
So we have not visited any of these properties but I will tell you the Warwick hotel is probably in the best spot, you can take a water taxi from the island to mainland for a few dollars.
I travel to other country i had experience the same, especially when products has to be imported. We are just living a full island life. We are not hand on to things what you can feel, smell ir taste. It our carribbean styles of life.
Thank you for sharing the beautiful smiles the 2 you have I enjoyed the tour of the town I bought the Cobra tiki poll by the way call how is the GFI circuit going
Great Video! We are going to Nassau in June! Question, where did find the horse-drawn carriage at?(What street?) I want to surprise my girlfriend with a ride through Nassau
Last time I was down there they were discouraging horse drawn carriages because of the inhumane treatment of the horses....so sad to see a horse lieing in the street from exhaustion....
So true the cost of living is very different. Check out our other videos and we talk about provisioning the boat for a month in Nassau. Thank you for your comment and watching Tonya
@@adventurecrews I was working with Carnival and as a crewmember sometimes that was my budget. Using local transport helps and if you walk a lot. But I know that food gets real expensive as tickets to attractions too. I also add that I remember that time most places gave us generous crew-member discounts or even free admission tickets to certain places.
They wanted to charge us for the crappy floating dock as well. Thankfully, we had friends who were staying at the marina so we tied our dinghy up to their boat. So that led us to Antiki Floating Bar (under the bridge). The owner Troy is so nice and let us tied up our dinghy there at no charge. Because he was so nice, we were happy to patron his business.
Thank you so much for this video!!! I was there on 5/22 and I hunted down that lobster!!! I got the crab too - got her down to $50 thanks to you😂
Oh my goodness, this is so cool!!! We're so glad it worked out for you! Enjoy your souvenirs :)
Thanks for visiting our lil country ❤,hope your experience was great here….and yes we are really expensive here
What a fantastic idea - $100 budget tour challenge!!! Brilliant! Looking forward to more of the same, smart people...
LOL thank you!
NEVER do these horse-drawn carriage trips. They're always a ripoff and, more importantly, they're often abusive to these horses.
You may have a good point there. I hope our video in this case helps people that are looking for things not to do in Nassau
Just found you guys a few days ago. Fun watching you make memories. We’re close on our next boat after 10 years with a Tiara. God bless you

That was a fun challenge. Always hard to stay on any budget when you are in an area with cruise ships.

I loved this episode! What a great idea. Sorry that your horse-drawn tour was disappointing, though.
Wondering why you don’t tip on your last cocktail?? You had one dollar left
I want to come to Bahamas 😢
You guys need to come to Siargao Philippine.
Where did you guys anchor there?
It's expensive living here 100 lol good luck
Haha you know it!
Did you include the dinghy landing fee? Lol
Well done.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks!
Lol to dock your tender was a additional 10buck
I think it was actually $20 🤯
hey. Nice try. glad to learn something from your video

yes right down the street

How much did the guys at Island Yachts charged you? I got charged $20 for my tender for less than an hour mooring in that crappy small floating dock.
