Absolutely love your content. I’m really enjoying your VLOG’s. Keep it up and thank you so much for the inspiration…… it’s working with me! 💙 Fair wind and following seas
I just started watching your VLOGS. I enjoy you guys so much. I am 52 and my husband is 53. And we just sold everything and bought a Lagoon 440 to live aboard. We realized life is too short to keep dreaming and wishing. We put our dreams into action. We will be moving aboard our boat in April. Watching your videos helps me not panic and think we can’t do this. We are so excited to start the next chapter of our lives on our new floating home. ❤
I love watching you guys an amen you have the right idea. I'm 70 years old an probably made my last trip to the Bahamas in January with my grandson, keep your dreams alive!
Ok guys. I’m a certified RUclips junkie. I’ve watched content in many non traditional lifestyle channels. I’ve watched several videos from about a dozen sailing channels so far. You guys have got this nailed. The content is so genuine and relatable. I’ve only watched a few so far and I rarely subscribe 🥴, but I did here. Wife is scared of the complexity of sailing, but we’ve had careers that were tougher. Now I’m trying to convince her to go to the Annapolis show.
This episode struck home to us. We are both working 2-3 jobs and hustling so we can make it happen! 1,387 days until i hit my pension date. We started our RUclips channel and doing everything we can. But thanks for the push! We enjoyed this video
That's awesome guys and the fact that you get out on charters is giving you a huge leg up! 3.8 years left and that time will go by super fast....Our biggest advise, start building out other scaleable revenue streams now even if you only make $100 a month. You do not want to be dependent on your pension if you do not have to be. You have the time now to build it now.
Good job girl, left the dock like a boss! Love seeing other couples besides us working as a TEAM you two are going to go the distance. BTW only jealous people shit on other peoples dreams. When that happens just smile and hand them some toilet paper. Keep on chasing the dream and enjoy being you.
Out punted your coverage. Busting a stitch on that. I’ve been saying that since the day I met my wife. All 5 spot on. The daily shows are great. I can’t imagine how brutal the work load is to do it. Still, will keep watching every day. Great job at the fuel dock Emily.
I SO Love your positivity! We’re a couple that met later in life and will be pursuing the full-time liveaboard dream this summer. Leaving Lake Michigan in June/July and heading out the Erie Canal to the East Coast & the ICW. The plan is to be anchoring in your shadow by Thanksgiving! Keep cheering others on and have a blessed Easter!
We started planning our journey before coming across your channel, but I shared this video with friends to help explain why we will buy our boat next month in the BVI. I can't wait to be out on the water again.
@@adventurecrews we hope to cruise around the Bahamas and the states while we learn the boat then we we’ll start discussing passage making hopefully to head through the canal after many stops and tackle the pacific.
Wow, where do I start, there is so much to unpack, lets hope I can remember all that I wanted to say. 1. My someday was 2 years ago when I started online ground school, (Your 1st tip). I have finished to course, but I have yet to take the actual exam...My fear (to your 5th tip). I'm working on it. 2. I know who my anchor is, I'm not afraid of regret because I KNOW what's on the other side (Your 3rd tip). 3. Port side = Port bow (FWD of beam), Port Beam & Port quarter (aft of beam), Your nautical lesson for the day...HAHAHA Great video, cheers from Dallas, see you tomorrow.
@@adventurecrews It wasn't you Emily, Cole was saying that there was coral head on the port side and was struggling with what to call it, so I just helped you out a little....hahaha
Thanks for sharing the 5 “lessons”. Future video topic to consider - what have you “missed” from your prior way of life? How do you appreciate the past while moving forward with your future?
I have been watching y’all from the beginning and I will say this, I think y’all need to loosen up a little and be yourselves a little more on camera but other then that I think y’all are doing great, I watch all the sailing channels and I now watch y’all so keep up the great work and have more fun on camera lol
Great video's, Very inspirational. Just wondering if you guys would be willing to do a true finance vid? What did everting cost. How did you managed? What type of income is a realistic number to live as you guys are? How does this life style choice effect, health care, retirement funds, ect? Thanks, look forward to seeing more adventures.
Thank you and yes we are working on that this year after we do our taxes..oour goal is to make the best budget video out there for this lifestyle! Did you know we have a FREE budget EXCEL on our website you can download?
