2024 Update: Nassau (Bahamas) Cruise Port Guide

Big changes have been completed in Nassau - the capital city of The Bahamas - with the city’s new cruise port now fully open to cruise passengers! The cruise port’s transformation started while the cruise industry was paused in 2020 due to COVID. And we saw progress on the construction during our two visits in 2021 and our two visits in 2022. When we visited aboard the Holland America Niuew Amsterdam in April 2024, we were pleased to see the construction completed. And in this video, we’ll provide a full tour of the all-new Nassau Cruise Port.

You made my day. I could give you a big hug for this information. Back in 2022 my husband and I took a cruise to Nassau and on our Carnival excursion was a visit to Graycliff which included the chocolate shop and cigar factory. We are going back this November but do not want to take that long excursion again. However, we want to go back to the cigar and chocolate places. I had been dreading trying to get a taxi once there to go to those places but thanks to you we won't have to do that because your vlog shows a shop at the port which sells both products. So glad to see that! All of your videos are extremely helpful. We first discovered your videos way back when you videoed your Carnival Sunshine cruise (thanks for the update on that ship as well).
