Noice! Great to finally shake your hand today Ron. That Tenterfield damper was unreal and I’ve been thinking about that bloody silverside all arvo. 😂 I’ll wait until the dust settles after Tamworth and touch base about one of the canvas oven bags. Excited about the thought of your new ovens too mate, especially if you do a 14”. Hope you & Martina have a great stay in the Country Music Capital mate. Cheers🍻🤝

Looks good Ron, a couple of bread rolls would go great with it

    One of my favourites.
Interesting method for adding the bacon , I’ve always fried it off with the onions.

I usually use a Smoked Pork bone but forgot to buy one. Good idea chucking it in with the onions 👍

Of camping very soon so this just got added to the meal list. Looks amazing and even I could do it. Might make a smaller batch so I get to drink more Guinness

Hi King, only a few days ago I asked if you would do some camp cooking while in your van.
    What a ripping result .
My son , (45 years old) has taken a newfound interest in camp oven cooking at home.
This recipe is relatively simple, and the result looks healthy and delicious,so ill get him to watch this clip.
    Thanks,regards Grant

As promised, I did this recipe on Saturday night, followed it pretty closely and ended up with a real winner. Definitely the dates made the difference considering I used twice as much Guinness. Great to see you back. 👍🏻🇦🇺

Fantastic, glad it worked for you. I needed a touch more Guinness in mine from the start, I should have put the whole can in. But im never quiet happy with my food lol. Im better off eating someone elses, it always tastes better than my own lol

Third time watching this, it’s happening this weekend, some King Brown bread rolls and we’re set. Did I mention Guiness entries? 👍🏻🇦🇺

I'm staying with a mate out the back of Yandina at the moment, and I'm the chief cook. I'll be slapping this together next week when I get some dates.

I love Beef n Guinness Stew.
The pitted dates sounds interesting too.
I think it would cook well in my Potjie.
Ron you do know you can buy a Single Can of Guinness at most bottle shops Aye! 😜👍

I propose an experiment Ron. You cook two B&G's, one with and one without Bay Leaves. Get someone to eat both and determine which one is better. I'm happy to be the someone
