      I think how you described Bruce sneaking into Gotham through the tunnels in the Batcave, minus encountering the Scarecrow and a Joker thug, is how he did it in the real movie. But I would have preferred if Talia fatally stabbed The Joker, as a mirror to how it happened near the end of Arkham City. His dying words being "That's...not...funny..."

      Some of the dialogue itself doesn't quite sound like Ledger's Joker, more like the animated series Joker. But still, great insight as to how they should have integrated him into the story.
      Always there to make bad things worse.
      I wish in actuality that they had just shown a lone locked cell in Arkham with laughter erupting from down the hallway...

      I disagree. The audience would not accept the Joker playing second fiddle to a boring, predictable villain like Bane. Even with the Joker not in TDKR people were comparing Bane negatively to him, it would be even worse if he were in the same movie. I do like the idea of the Joker and Batman temporarily joining forces against a "schemer" villain, but that needs to be one heck of an interesting villain to go toe-to-toe with them.

      @Deutschland Mexiko Joker actually did use a form of laughing gas in the dark knight novelization. It was basically just an edited version Of the fear toxin. It isn’t all thst hard to think Joker Could’ve mixed in nitrous and a few other things to that for thr effect to induce uncontrollable laughter then suffocation. I don’t think it should have made bane pale that was a bit much.

    • @James-nr2hi
      @James-nr2hi 3 года назад +10

      @DeutschBrit The Joker toxin would work easily.
      1. Laughing gas is already a thing in real life.
      2. Writing it as a altered version of fear toxin would work as scarecrow is still out and about.
      3. Finally all we have to do is change the seen.
      Instead of just distorted laughter, we make it horrifying, raspy and almost choking laughter. Letting the scene go on for a minute as bane slowly suffocates.
      Then once the mask is removed we see Bane's facial muscles have been distorted into a twisted, wide grin.

    So what if, at the end in the Florence cafe, Alfred looks up at the people, searching for Bruce and Selina. He looks around again, and his eyes fall on a man with straggly dark blonde hair, also facing away from him.
    Alfred can't place him yet, but there is something about the man that draws his gaze. Then he notices the faint traces of green dye in the man's hair and his eyes widen.
    Seeming to sense him, the man turns. His face is scarred, but it seems to be healing better. His features are still jarring in the peaceful Florence sunshine. Meeting Alfred's gaze, he smiles a little and winks at him before turning back to staring out at the civilians around them.

Goyer's (but not necessarily Nolan's) plans for the third movie would have involved the Joker going on trial while Two-Face (who would have turned out to be Only Mostly Dead) went on a rampage across Gotham. Awesome script. Fantastic!! Genuinely found an authentic way to tie in the Joker to this movie Although at the very end if he were to get in reach of the bomb and it's anchor I can see him attempting to saw it off the air craft instead of just dangling off it, content to just die with Batman while he potentially had an opportunity to stop him from saving Gotham. (I know its highly likely that the cable being used to anchor the bomb would be much to thick to cut/saw through, but I think Joker would at least make the attempt to cut it.)
