    Spent years trying to get a solid recruiter who could help me re-enlist but couldn’t get a solid answer. Kept hearing hearsay, finally had to decide to crosstrain. Wish I could have reached out directly to get a straight answer.

    I love to dive and would love to do it in the NAVY, but there does not seem to be a pipeline that does not become Spec Ops. Am I missing something here? My dad was a Navy diver and talks about it all the time, in his days it was not Spec Ops. Why the change and why is everything becoming Spec Ops?

    • @OnesReady
      @OnesReady  Год назад +3

      The Air Force doesn’t have a reason to conduct regular or salvage diving. The navy most certainly does and still has programs to be a diver that’s not performing a special operation/special warfare mission set. If your goal is to be a diver, sounds like the Navy is for you (I believe Army engineers maintain a dive cape too?). But, if you want to dive as a way to conduct special operations focused on AF missions, then SPECWAR it is. -A

  • @orcaesports5980

    You mentioned E6 with less then 10 years TIS probably losing rank to E5. Air Guard/Reserve was mentioned but what about USSF(would you think it would be considered an "air component/its apart of DAF")?

    • @OnesReady
      @OnesReady  Год назад

      You’d have to talk to the USSF recruiters… but we aren’t in USSF. So you’d get there to… be in the space force? - A

    • @mdgann6241
      @mdgann6241 Год назад

      USSF isn’t considered an AF component. You have to be conditionally released just like someone crossing over from the Marines, Army, or Navy.

    • @orcaesports5980
      @orcaesports5980 Год назад

      @@mdgann6241 USSF is not a AF Component but is a DAF Component(which was the rank question as I wasn't sure if I could keep my rank or not).
      I'm looking into my future 1 year out of ETS''ing from the Space Force and what I want to do next. (Army -> USSF -> ETS -> ??) I've done traditional ISR but looking into SR as a segway of bringing those skills into the careerfield.

    Active duty Air force recruiters are picky when a prior service other branch member tries to get in. I would like to get in the reserve or guard, but I just turned 50 in April this year, decent shape, I am ok with spec warfare or security forces or whatever my cross training Mos scores get me into, as long as I can join up. Wish DOD or Air force let older veterans join up. We are still valuable to the force, either in support jobs or front line jobs. Prior service Active Army and National Guardsman here.

    I've kept up with getting schooled as a civilian for PJ subjects. Ie emt-b, rescue diver cert, weapons training/security. I'm ready to go back k and finish.... but I feel like that Covid-19 injections, "vaccine" after definition changed 🤔 will cause myocarditis
