    Chadwick Bowles was my developer before I joined. Super solid guy. I got med DQed but another dude in my dev group is far into the pipeline now. I'm getting my waivers set up now (color vision)so I can palace chase and crosstrain in 2 years

    The 5 things about being the best candidate in AF Special Warfare include:
    1. Don't go for the minimums, shoot for the competitive requirements.
    2. Don't go straight into the pipeline after BT if you feel unprepared, spend months if not years prior practicing and working out before you attempt the pipeline.
    3. Have water confidence, because if you are a good swimmer; then you will be ready for Pre-Dive and Combat Dive.
    4. Don't give up; even if it's hard and demanding, keep going and have confidence in yourself.
    5. If you fail the pipeline, simply retake it rather than drop out!

    7:00 - 16:09.... This is why playing sports or being on a team is so important. I can only speak for myself, but if one guy was just taking his sweet freaking time to walk over to the huddle, we were doing suicides or running a dozen laps around the field to pay for his mistake.

    Have you guys ever talked about older guys entering afsw? Closer to the 30+ area

    Not all developers are created equal. The developer in my area only does PT tests, and does those reluctantly.
    You want to hold him accountable, but can’t cause you could piss him off and burn the only bridge you have into the service.
    It’s less about me. I’m self driven and train on my own. But there are other guys that aren’t getting the right type of effort they might need to be pushed to reach their goals. Honestly disappointing to see. It feels like they just want to get guys passing the test to meet their shipping quotas, but don’t really care about the young dudes going in, and aren’t being honest with them.

    Is there a date of shipment to bootcamp for special warfare in October? And will they give time to go home after SWCC before going to the next school?

    • @ryandickson2224
      @ryandickson2224 Год назад +2

      u gotta talk to a recruiter for specific ship dates. And typically no, you will go straight to Assesment and Selection after SWCC
