- Former US spy Anne Sacoolas refused to talk to Sky News when she was asked whether she had a message for the family of Harry Dunn.
Ms Sacoolas was leaving her lawyer's office in the US when she was asked for a comment from a Sky News team.
She was earlier sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months, for causing the death of Harry by careless driving in 2019.

Crazy how a guy driving dangerously was jailed for 4 years a couple of days ago and this woman walks off Scot free for killing a young man. What was the point of the farce of a court case. Heartbreaking
She is a CIA agent. The British ain't gonna do nothing to their masters agent. Britain always the dog of America.
USA corruption as always
The guy must have been black
Female privilege.
She walked away free because she's American.
‘Have a nice day’ lovely words for his family.
Imagine someone killed a family member of hers and then happily answers "Have a nice day".
That’s what I thought dint give a crap stupid yank
that was cold
Been following this case since it happened. There was a point for a year or so nothing had happened and to finally reach this point and her to say have a nice day boils my blood. Not a single care in the world. No remorse and she said it in such a sarcastic way.
Absolutely
'Have a nice day' negates the statement she made in court before her sentence that she was sorry and full of remorse. This statement without doubt was just an act to get a lighter sentence.
America hates Britain. It’s using it right now yet also plotting its demise. It’s astounding so many assume they have our best interests at heart
@@cycleSCUBA She is obviously directing that at the news reporter and not the victim's family.....
Strange how they go to such lengths to protect a murderer
@@MaryJane-kn3id she is though. Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being under the kings peace.
@@MaryJane-kn3id she was speeding on the wrong side of the road. That's 2nd degree murder, easy.
@@MaryJane-kn3id load of bollocks.
@@MaryJane-kn3id 20 seconds is alot of time to be driving on the wrong side of the road she deserves atleast 15 years behind bars for what she did
She deserves the conviction for jumping on a plane to avoid justice.
However, she will have to live with this for the rest of her life.
"Have a nice day"
What a joke. At least seem a slight bit remorseful. If i was Harry's mum, i would be absolutely seething at this verdict.
think a real prison sentence would have been correct not a suspended one
your right, it was the opposite of remorse it was arrogance, how does she sleep at night;
@@paulrichards6894 Without any aggravating factors a prison sentence generally won’t be given for this offence.
@@-_-dontcare-_- The sentencing was a joke
She is saying this to the dunn family 👪 have a nice day - go fk yourself
She's not even going to prison, it's a suspended sentence. Plus a 12 month driving ban. A cruel joke for a family without a son.
Thats ONLY IF SHE RETURNS TO THE UK
In the usa she can drive freely and faces no consequences. She is a coward free to live... i hope someone their makes her pay
@@bubandlisa UK courts are joke. My beef with Ann Sacoolas is that she didn't even bothered to say anything to the victims' family for weeks. Totally kept them in dark. What a horrible woman!!
tbh its not the crime that makes me hate her. because if it was an accident, it could be excused. its her lack of remorse that gets to me. she couldnt care less
I know what I would do if it was my family she killed.
Spooks have little remorse.
She left the poor lad to die, to which she caused his death, to save herself.
No remorse at all
She is American… seems they don’t do remorse
@@chazordave i can imagine her first thoughts in the car after she hit him was 'whats going to happen to me' rather than 'i hit someone and have probably caused them serious harm. better go check on them'
Our government should refuse to handover Julian Assange until she returns.
Should refuse full stop and give him full asylum
That would require a spine and to stand up to our ruler and master.
@A71 Your comments wasted on the mindless sky viewers mate ,after all, they are told what to think .
He should be a free man already
Julian Assange shouldn't even be in jail
She says have a nice day! Sick woman.
Woah that "have a nice day" was just so cold hearted...yikes
She's CIA
She was talking to the reporter basically telling him to "piss off."
8 months is a joke, she was driving on the WRONG side of the road and killed someone. She should get atleast 10 years, whether it was an accident or not.
British legal system at its finest!
8 months suspended sentence! She's not going to prison.
@@nathanmerritt1581 it's the worst justice system in the entire world, I know someone that stomped on someone's head and left him with brain damage and he got 2 years in prison. Worst country ever, wish I didn't live here but can't afford to move lol.
@@patriciasimpson7020 thanks for stating the obvious genius!
She's in the USA and our government will never push for extradition, so she will never see jail time ever. But assange, a journalist is sent with ribbon by our so called government.
She may have gotten 8 months imprisonment but the 12 month suspended sentence, means she will not get any jailtime as long as she passes the 12 month probation period... as well any probation would be impossible to enforce since she is staying in the US. Ultimately she gets away scot free...
Yes and no remorse or caring for victims family. Spoiled criminal
Exactly! 🤬
Thanks captain obvious
I wouldn’t say scot free, she is now a convicted criminal and gets harassed by the press, and so she should.

couldnt even say sorry. Great confrontation
Absolutely disgusting, got away with it….
She sounds like a charming piece of work.
She is hot! Her husband is a lucky man! ☺
@@aquariumdude7829 Your wife is certainly out of luck.
Despicable. I am an American citizen with dual nationality living in the UK and Anne Sacoolas has allowed our judiciary (effortlessly, though) to be mocked inordinately with today's verdict. The 'barrier' the judge cites in Sacoolas being overseas as an unenforceable jurisdiction for custodial punishment is impugned by her subsequent admonition that she is 'disqualified for driving for 12 months'. This is absurdly irrelevant and, quite frankly, egregious to monumental levels. If a woman 'convicted' of a child's death on the roads is not punitively imprisoned consequently, how the f--k does 'disqualification from driving' in a country she will never set foot again bear any sort of penalty?! The judge was inappropriately cajoled into these editorialisations, we all know, but this dichotomised statement is so bipolar in sentimentality it is sublimely ridiculous.
Absolutely right
Not an ounce of remorse
The most disgusting part of all this is how public the corruption is.
What a piece.
She got a slap on the wrist for causing a death, when we have British people going to jail or getting the same sentence for non-violent crimes
This is a pretty standard sentence for this type of crime.
more like a peck on the chick
@@MaisieDaisyUpsadaisy not for someone run away after the accident 🤣
@@yuanrao5328 Actually it is. Second, Sacoolas did not run away, she stayed at the scene.
@@MaisieDaisyUpsadaisy stayed at the scene, but ended up in US 🤣?
Wonderful British justice system at work again.
Britain, aka America's Belarus, will always play second fiddle to America.
@@1800WETANAL so it would seem
The judge should have given her a prison sentence and said she'll serve it when she returns to the U.K. Sacoolas might be safely tucked up in the U.S. with no possibility of extradition but at least they'll ALWAYS refer to her as the person who's supposed to be in prison for death by careless. Maybe that would wear her down and make her return to the U.K. to get it off what little conscience she has.
Anyone else in Britain who kills someone by wreckless driving its a custodial sentence outright with no suspension..If she has some effing courage and faced court in Britain and got what shes got i`d have some respect but it shows there with that have a nice day comment she deserves no respect whatsoever.
Usual supine lickspittle behaviour on part of UK gov't & courts towards USA. "Knowing which way their bread's buttered" perhaps
Absolutely shame full behaviour 🤬
I trust karma will pay her a visit.
I hope so.
It will in the end.
She didn't mean to kill that poor lad but what an unbelievably callous woman she is
I'm not from UK or US, but such a light sentence for life lost is just despicable. I blame the UK court and its government for cracking under the US pressure in influencing the outcome. To me, its like a slap to the wrist that's all. I read somewhere that Harry's twin brother is spiraling downward mentally. Sad
Don’t blame the victims here. We can’t stand up to America. Nobody can. Only if the rest of the world says we’ve had enough they lose their dominance
She doesn't give a damn cuz she knows she's going to get away with!
Life can change in an instant
She must be bitterly regretting and cursing the accident. I bet she secretly thinks it's Harry's fault for being there. It's the nature of car accidents: they require everything to 'perfectly fail'. If either Harry Dunn or Anne Sacoolas had been travelling at a slightly different time, the accident would not have happened and Harry would still be alive today. Her real punishment is not so much the eight-month suspended prison sentence: it's the fact that she's been publicly humiliated for having killed someone in an accident which, she knows, was her fault. Her name is smeared forever and ever more.
Only in the UK - in the USA they'll either never hear of it (outside their borders, after all) or assume that she must be innocent because Yanks can do no wrong in the eyes of their compatriots.
She knows what she did and people know what she did. She will live with that knowledge for the rest of her days and I hope this thought gets heavier and heavier for her.
No-one in the U.S. has any idea about this
Some people are more equal than others
@@skwjisin I am proud to be a White Caucasian-American! Top of the food chain! ☺
What a disgusting women , how a man lays next to that at night is beyond me.
Bet he regretted it the moment he pulled out and she opened her stupid gob
That "have a nice day" was chilling and sick. I hope this evil woman gets what she deserves.
She'll have to live with this on her conscience, assuming she has one. Disgraceful case. Her. The UK government. The US government. Cowardly taking flight. Cover-up. No justice.
She sounds like a disgusting person. Her answers were cold and show absolutely no remorse. It's a pity the American government does not concern itself with justice in this case.
Eight months in prison??? How is that justice ⚖
She doesn’t have to go to prison
She's in the USA and our government will never push for extradition, so she will never see jail time ever. But assange, a journalist is sent with ribbon by our so called government
It’s a suspended sentence, she’s not going to prison
Dont believe the fake PR, the government and Harrys family and trying to push out.. the sentence means nothing. Her driving ban and suspended sentence means nothing, cant be enforced in USA.. she probably got out of the lift and jumped in her car and drove off legally
she does NOT get 8 months in prison...
it is a SUSPENDED sentence...
NO JAIL TIME!
Belfield got five and a half years for hurty words 🤪
I mean it was stalking…
It wasn't "hurty words." He was actively stalking people and encouraging his thick supporters to make false complaints against his targets to have them sacked. This woman disgusts me. She should have gone to jail, but was let off the hook because she's an American spook but don't make out Belfield is innocent. What did he do with all that money his idiot followers donated to him?
Her message to the Dunn family is 'Have a nice day'? Seriously?
Where’s the humanity? I hope we can all rally around the young lad’s family, maybe light a candle 🕯️ or say a prayer 🙏🏼 for them all. That woman may not have learned her lesson today but the universe does have a habit of sneaking up on us and paying us back one way or another. God bless Harry Dunn and his family. 🤲🏼
What goes around comes around, we will hear of this woman again but it won’t be good news for her.
I’m not saying she’s something out of a Mission Impossible film, but I expect spies are protected from consequences of actions in any legal system. I wonder how many people over the decades have lost loved ones due to operations gone wrong or carelessness and it’s never come to light.
yeah i get that... but driving on the wrong side of the road and killing a young lad is not exactly "a lost loved one due to operations"
That Woman put her hands on the reporter pushing him out of the elevator which is considered Assault . If a male pushed a female reporter there would be a MeToo movement
Also, she has no right to stop him
Horrid woman
No justice in this.. this criminal killed a young man and deliberately hid from the law!
Pfft.. Suspended Sentence 🙄
She's guilty and she knows it hiding behind her husband's diplomatic immunity absolutely disgusting. Nobody is above the law .
I hope this video gets seen in America and right thinking people who recognise her actions as despicable, remind her every day she shows her face in public.
Nope! I am American and I think she's great and didn't do anything wrong and doesn't have to explain anything further! ☺
What was that woman doing trying to block the camera with her clipboard. If a son of hers was run down and killed, she wouldn’t be flapping around with her clipboard then would she.
American arrogance. They think they're above everyone.
What a piece of work. This woman should be jailed; just like every other person.
What the actual ….
Never a day?? No i think shes been working on the make it look good wording
Team write it

One rule for one, and another rule for an other…
Is that Anne or her lawyer?
This horrible woman has got away with killing an innocent young man. Her sentence is a complete farce and meaningless.
How is that an exclusive interview with Anne Sacoolas?
The fact that she stayed in place and didn't run aways is already quite exclusive for her.
Because she would do no other!
5 star sentence.
First time i’ve ever heard of diplomatic immunity was from a film with the two cops. Even back then i always thought it was bs.
She should be in prison she killed another human being!! A total coward and I wonder how she would take it if it were her son that someone killed by careless driving!!
Valid questions.
There is much more to this than meets the eye. Who, or what exactly is she and what was she doing in the U.K. that made the U.S. rigorously defend her 'diplomatic immunity' despite only - as we're told - being the wife of a U.S. intelligence officer? Only Sacoolas' conscience gave in, in the end and she agreed to prosecution, albeit remotely from the U.S.
Rest in Peace, Harry.
There's no justice she got off Scott free
She should be brought back to the UK and put in prison. she doesn’t even seem remorseful or sorry. Absolutely disgraceful
This lady was in all aspects guilty ! She got off very light. She should be very ashamed and should pay money to family of victim at least! Should have been jailed!
Well done Sky News. She deserved that!
Sky News is Trump-hating leftist crap.
Compare the episode of `24 Hours in Police Custody ` from last Monday with this . Good old British justice

this is what 'i don't care' looks like... suspended sentence?
if harry was my son...

There will be no punishment. The woman has no conscience or shame. Karma will pay her in full one day. Best wishes to Harry Dunns family.
It's disgusting how the US government thinks it can use its power to refuse to extradite someone with blood on their hands to stand trial. And yet the US wants us to extradite a whistleblower who committed no crime (Assange) to face trial. Total impunity.
She got charged with Careless Driving, but should've been charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving, which carries a max 5 year penalty...
Deals done behind closed doors as a sop to the family.
The judge in this sentence was probably pressed to do the minimum sentence by the Home Office as she probably wants to be reassigned to a UK based USAF base asap with her husband and in 12 months she will be free to come to the UK.
Zero remorse
She is a US citizen, which is a powerful country. if it was any other country national, there would be higher chance of a real sentence.
she has NOT been punished justice HAS NOT been served. utterly diabolical that she has got away with this
Clear evidence as to how politicians and their families vs normal people are treated by jurisdiction system. Appalling!
Why was she driving on the other side of the road?
