I feel like they're apples and oranges - one uses a covered call strategy to pay premium dividends while the other is more growth oriented (though SCHD has a very attractive yield).

I use both. 75% in SCHD and 25% in JEPI on the Roth side of my 401k . Close to retirement.

I invest in both in my Roth, 40% SCHD and 3% JEPI. I’m 24 years from retirement though, I view my 3% JEPI as establishing a position for retirement.
