David Schwimmer is just on another level, and still the most underrated actor on the show.
I come back here because of how good David's acting is. This scene will never stop being funny.
When Ross goes, "hey... that rhymes..." even Joey is like 😳🤷♀️ no delayed reaction on that one 😂🤣

V- is for this very surprising turn of events, which I am still fine with by the way
E- is for extremely normal I find it that you two are together, and that one day you might get married and have children of your own

Schwimmer is sublime, he can sell physical comedy, goofiness, heartbreak, maybe being a bit creepy and being convincingly drunk in just one minute. Especially considering just how hard comedy acting is, he’s got seriously solid acting chops… And he gets an extra bonus point for the EEEeeee!!
Only Friends writers can turn an awkward and a painful scene (you are hosting your love of the life and her boyfriend who is one of your best friend) into an absolutely hilarious one. It is a tough scene to 'write' funny and extremely tough one to 'act' funny along with pain. But David Schwimmer nailed it. Whatever the writers threw at Ross, David Schwimmer nailed them all. I wouldnt be surprised if the writers purposefully wrote more complex, weird and diverse stories around Ross more than other characters just because of David's performance.

writers and producers had to dilute with rest of the cast behind the door by full of humor and spot on phrases according RnR fighting flow.
Otherwise, it would' been such a destruction for watchers even more than exists.
The acting is on another level. So well done executed by David.

This is so damn good man, holy... The 'O' being for "Oh wow!", the "Eeeeeeee" and then also when he starts crying and then when he says he's okay and Rachel says he doesn't seem okay that he goes "I'm sorry, it must be the pressure of entertaining" it's just absolute gold.
Apart from “E” the way he explained “E” is what he’s feeling from Inside pain,sadness,loneliness,I know what he went trough and I can relate to him….

With all the stuff that happened to Ross over the 10 seasons, Rachel and Joey getting together being his breaking point and going into a drunken spiral is both funny and totally believable.
If you look at outtakes and bloopers, David made the others break character the most because he had awesome delivery.
