The thing is with me, English and American accents sound the same, so I always find it weird when one tries to imitate the other, because when I hear both real English and real American accents, I honestly can't tell the difference at all, and only hear the difference when one copies/imitates/parodies the other - but other than that, it's exactly the same to me. I am English, by the way.

Monica was definitely the funniest of the female cast. It's actually perfect she ended up with Chandler. They were both equally sarcastic and funny people but soft kind inside. I live in the Philippines. When I worked in a multinational company, during a meeting with our Australian boss, my all-Filipino (dark-skinned, very ethnic looking) co-worker suddenly asked a question in a bad British accent. Everyone in the room laughed while the boss just looked at him speechless, confused and trying to contain his laughter. We thought the Filipino was just trying to be funny but he was actually serious, trying hard to impress everyone. After a few seconds, my boss finally asked him "where are you from?" After the meeting we asked the guy about the Brit accent, he explained that he was a telemarketer.
To be honest, Ross was going to lecture Paleontology students, so they were bound to find the subject more interesting than his friends. Not that their advice was wrong of course, but I think if Ross just relaxed and let his inner nerd out, he'd be fine!
Sedimentary flow or not. It's really hard to write a real scientific paper that gets reviewed by all your peers. You have to be pretty smart to do that.
There is no such thing as a British accent. It’s English, Scottish and Welsh. Northern Irish is not included as it’s part of the U.K. not Britain even though part of it wants to be. Haha
