- The Indian farm reforms of 2020 refer to three agricultural bills passed by the Parliament of India on 27 September 2020. The bills collectively seek to provide farmers with multiple marketing channels and provide a legal framework for farmers to enter into pre-arranged contracts among other things. The three laws are the Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, which came into effect following the approval of President Ram Nath Kovind.
Protests against the acts picked up in September 2020, particularly in Punjab and Haryana, where farmers have been at the forefront.

Thats why Private companies always perform better than Govt controlled companies. eg. Compare Indigo v/s Air India.
What will happen with privatisation?
Example:- Education was privatised so we are expecting and getting quality education than govermnet. Yes, privatisation has led to increase in price but we should also consider it also improve quality.

There are fear among farmers that's it. Nothing wrong with this law. After implementation if we face any problem we should raise the isssue for amendment. Untill we should support modi govt. It was a good initiative, one step towards success.
For 70 yrs farmers are committing suicides no one supports them but now state governments loosing their taxes so they are promoting the protest. This is the reality of fake politician's, support modi.
MSP is set by the government before sowing of the crops (23 crops) for each season. Every season. Only 6% of the farmers sells their crops to government at MSP.
It's not 6% ,see RBI working group report ,its lot higher. In Punjab and Haryana , 75% farmers sell through MSPs. In Bihar farm laws are liberalised. What happened ? Slide in farm incomes

When cooperates have such a unity then why farmers doesn't have it? For example my hometown Anakapalli has sugarcane land a lot. Now if all farmers join hands and fix a rate then what will happen?

@@kirank2121 in our areas weekly once there is a market where farmers wives sell their veggies there. Now they can even sell their dals and rice also directly.
My father always ask them to bring ragi and they will make it available for next week market. Then it can be expanded to other grains and dals also.
This is my opinion according to my village processing.

MSP should be either added in a clause or a seperate act on MSP should be brought in or else farmers might fall into losses because of Coercion or Fraud. Add MSP clause in the bill.
If there is no clause on MSP in the act then sooner or later after the abolishment of APMCs the private companies for the sake of their profit motive will ask for discounted prices from farmers which will be below cost of production for Farmers. Which is why MSP in the act is necessary.

Their entire system is dependent on each other. There is Mazdoor Union whose fate is attached to it. Don't even think for a second that Sikh Jats and Hindu Jaats will allow these black Acts to be implemented. Put it in the back of your mind. Don't let Modi media tell you that MSP will be given. This is not the Law. There has to be and Modi WILL be forced to make this as a Law. Take another example of Bihari farmer who is forced to sell at Rs. 1000 a quintal ! Where is Modi's MSP gone ?
