my face was melting during this set. what an amazing festival to be at. so grateful i got to see this
ha me too!
I've seen the dead for years and years. This is clean Lesh.
Wasn't able to attend this lovely gathering held in my home state due to work, needed to hear(or even better watch) something new and happy... woohoo!
Thank you so much for posting this! Any chance of also posting Phil's set with Santana?
Never tripped so hard in my life , this was an amazing set . There are no words to describe the way I was felling that night spaced my face on a hill side all alone during morning dew and changed my perspective of life , thank you . ~ npb
+nick byers Bragging about needing drugs to enjoy good music isn't a good look.
+nick byers I don't think you're bragging about anything, man. Good music by itself can change your perspective of life. So can acid.Experiencing both together is a wonderful thing too.
+andrecoelho67 yeah ... bragging ?But your right man , music is a beautiful thing . Can't wait for next yeah :)
+Amanda Scherer was only trying to express how I felt , and wanted share my thought with other people that love the same music I do ? Sounds like it to me you have things suede uptight .
+Amanda Scherer ps . Don't care how I look
Great band, Phil! Great job, band! Thanks for posting this BSP3.
The night Neal Casal put me on my ass. Rest in peace. Hope you got the window seat on the way home.
amazing! Thanks for sharing
Phil's in his element here. I don't remember Phil smiling so much with the Dead.
I was there and I have to say that I actually preferred this night to the following night with Santana and most of the Q joining Phil. That night was good too in its own right (much bluesier overall) but I think this one took the cake.
agreed
Agreed
Just made my day, again!
Great show!
Any recent performances of "Unbroken Chain" and/or "One More Saturday Night"? : ] Great job by all!
krasno is the fucking man.
There will never be a replacement for Jerry. C.R. Is a decent stand in.
i love phil, but he n't does''nt(sp) look well God bless you Phil.
A month after this show Phil revealed he had been battling bladder cancer. I heard from a taper that China Cat Sunflower, Easy Wind, and Box of Rain were printed on this setlist after the donor rap, but weren't played. I wonder if they ended early because phil wasn't feeling well.
Is Lesh senil....?
We write the years 1968!
Frikkin, boring, ever-repeating, oldschool rubbish rock from the early days before Elvis!
For the elderly-homes in Mississippi!
How does it feel to be such a freak?
