Good video, we just spent 10 days at HB, loved it, surf fished on the northern end and had a great time catching whiting, grunts and flounder (had to release them). Looking forward to returning and trying that dock you used. Keep them coming 👍🎣
My inlaws live down there in shallotte nc fished all those spots I have the most luck at the point and the surf to the south of the pier also best bait to catch alot of fish is fresh shrimp with a piece of green fish bites above the shrimp if you dont have live shrimp that is lol love that beach so peaceful great video keep them coming.
There's a place few miles from HB called Browns landing, good fishing spot between Holden and Oak Island, its lockwood folly inlet.. You can drive to it..

I'm going to make another fishing video tomorrow I finally found where the black drum were biting I did not have any video of them but I caught a mess of black drum around 4 this afternoon so I'm going back tomorrow shoot another video God bless you brother will talk to you soon

Hey man, very good video! Tip for the gotcha plug, use smaller gear, very good from the pier. Also you can fish it off the beach. I’m not a pro, but have been more successful with a medium action rod and a good Penn spinning reel with about 20lb braid. Good luck mqn
Yeah I know I didn't catch a fish but you know what sometimes it's not about catching sometimes it's just about being in the Great Outdoors and having that total experience and being blessed with the presence of God. And being apart by watching the video and experiencing just as things work experience to me on the very day I made this video there's no fancy editing it is just what it is glad you got to come along God bless you

go down to oak island point and fish were the icw separates holdens beach and oak island that is a killer spot for that gotcha plug
