I am not a very experienced fisherwoman. I went fishing yesterday and everyone around me was catching speckle trout except myself and my daughter so I decided that I was going to become educated, that’s I found your videos. I have learned so much, thank you. We are in the Texas gulf coast area and we have great fishing, come and join us! Can you also do a video on how not to get caught I. The rocks when fishing jetties? I have always stayed away from the jetties where there are giant fishes being caught just because I get caught almost every time I cast. Thanks for your videos! Come on down and try our waters one day, water is great and people are awesome!
I caught my first speckled trout yesterday! It was a dink.... But hey first day fishing after moving to the coast in NC..... First time Berkley gulp user..... And by following your instructions I caught my first one! Thank you so much for the videos and tips I greatly appreciate them been watching for 6+ months now! Speckled Trout are by far my favorite saltwater fish!
Great job guys, really starting to admire you thanks for your unselfishness. The tutorials help keep the winter boredom away and they're very helpful thank you. can't wait to see what's up next, keep pressing forward it's very appreciated. Again thank you. Dan
Going to Atlantic Beach week after next gonna put some of your methods to use and try them out. I'm a freshwater trout fisherman from the mountains of North Carolina but can't wait to try this out hopefully they'll be feeding when we go down to the Coast
The more you know the better you fisherman you become and getting Tons of different opinions on lures and fishing knowledge and insight and stuff like that definitely makes targeting fish a whole lot easier and also catching them and catching trophy fish ...
You are absolutely right about mud and winter trout. Look for a winter day that is clear and the tide will be lowest when the sun is highest ands get after them way back in the creeks where it is muddy. The sun warms the low water over that mud and it drains out ansd you’ll have a window where they are active even in cold weather.
What an awesome video you guys! Super informative and engaging for the viewers here in the 757 and abroad as well. Jeff and Kristie(sp) keep up the power couple domination here which I admire deeply and thank you for everything you two do in the 757 fishing community and outward as well! Very much looking forward to the channel and content coming this year in 2020. Hope to see y’all on the water soon! Tight lines to ya and snatch the catch!
Great, thorough tutorial--I haven't caught a speckled trout since I was a teenager (45 years ago), but it sure looks like fun! Don't have a boat, but I do have chest waders!
I love watching y'all videos they help me get different insight on y'all fishery and helps me get a better understanding of exactly what those species are doing in general here in Louisiana and there whenever you are fishing at the moment in each video I have a really good understanding of our fishery and how each species act and what they feeding on and where and when but getting others points of view on those species in different states not just my own is a game changer for sure ...
I love your videos. I have caught my first striper, puppy drum, and speckled trout because of y'all! I was new to salt water fishing. I have a favorite soft plastic now for salt water fishing almost always gets a bite. Pearl white sickle tails
Very advanced tutorial and I am a go-getter on the water thank you so much so damn much for your input and if you were ever in murrells inlet South Carolina feel free to come to the murrells inlet Outpost and Buddy whatever you need is on the house ask for Ned
Awesome, awesome video. I do both kayak and surf fishing here on the Alabama gulf coast. I appreciated the information you passed on. I got some good take aways from you Cheers.
Great video!!! Been a subscriber for a while and always look forward to your videos. I live in eastern nc and fish for specks year round they can be hard to locate some days (or just not biting🤔) but that is what makes them so much fun to catch!!! Also one of the best fish around!!!
Hey 1🐟2🐟 , Great Job yall ,,, you really get to the meat of ur subject & keep da fluff out , this in turn helps aspiring anglers focus on important points ,,,,
I originally started checking out this video on what was the Best Way and best places to catch trout. But never mind that now. Where did you catch that cutie holding the fish?😂 Years ago buddy and I left squid in a bag on the boat for about 5 days. It stunk to high heaven. So we tried it for bait anyway. We caught over 40 trout in 1 hour in the intracoastal waterway right near Charleston South Carolina. As a matter-of-fact where you're standing on the beach. Looks a lot like Sullivan's Island South Carolina to me.
In North Carolina during the cold winter speckled trout will get so far up the creeks off of the pamlico river and sound they freeze and die . Don't know why but it happens. All you need is a landing net to get our 4 fish limit . its bad to see them floating upside down going to waste.
Fantastic and very informative tutorial. Recently caught some speckled trout using light tackle. Had a blast and can’t wait to get back to the jetties. Thank you so much for all the information about catching speckled trout. I hit the subscribe button and look forward to watching more of your videos….next up,,,,Redfish!!!! Thanks again
Try out the four horsemen cork it's made by a buddy of mine I went to school with they have the perfect sound to them they attract fish more than any other cork I've used before ... Quick tip, the wrapped version lasts forever ... I prefer pink cause of visibility but orange is the only color wrap they sell so far that I know of but in regular paint colors they have flourecent green ,chartruce , flourecent pink and flourecent orange ....and they're very tough and have thick stainless steel wire and heavy spro power swivels check them out I believe you will love them ...by the way I live in southeast Louisiana sportsman's paradise ... lafourche parish ...
Hey guys thanks for staying loyal to your subscribers and I know a lot of people have been forced to go to patreon to make a living doing this and you know I understand it but I feel like this forgot about RUclips to an extent they still put videos out but not like they did thanks for the loyalty will be loyal to y'all
Every time I'm in southwest Florida I can catch exactly one keeper speckled trout less than the limit no matter how long I fish. They just lowered the limit this year to 3, so when I go back in a few months I expect I will catch only 2 per day max.
Hey bud what color is the mirrolure u recommend? There’s so many different options. I’ll be using a 9ft ugly stik medium light rod and fishing from a jetty here in Galveston. Rod is rated for 3/4oz lures. Help please!!
Like every video yall do, spectacular job. Glad to see another tutorial. It's nice to watch these and go out and catch stuff from yall's pointers. I've started using hard plastics since watching your guy's channel and I've been getting a lot more quality specks to put in the fryer.
Great video!! I’ll be in Norfolk/VA beach area on Friday to do some wade fishing. Any suggestions on an area to target? Rivers seem to be producing but I can’t tell on google maps where I can park along the Indian river in norfolk

You will also find small snails attached to the grass and trout feed on the snails.
