I did this for around a year and a half as an agency worker for some Sainsburys warehouse depot. Wore that damn Red Prairie wrist-watch + scanner system which tracks your CPM performance. There's only so much of this sort of shit work you can take before you give up and leave to find some other type of work, which isn't so demanding of you. Your feet hurt after a long-ass 8-9 hour shift as you're constantly moving, no time to rest. Working in the Ambient chamber with those MHE was always better than working in the Chill chamber, of course. It was sort of fun but it's definitely not the sort of work you want to be doing for years on end though, hell no.
I was a picker for VanGen services at worcester 1989 -1994 and I loved it!!!. 12 hour nights / 6 nights a week. The money was fantastic and the lads i worked with great. I still have dreams about that job.
Did and currently do this in the UK and can get around £500 per week. it's ridiculously easy money for putting boxes in cages, might get boring but silly easy money.
Waiting for the fortlift driver to deliver goods to where you need is the killer! Damn them ones who no your pick scores gonna go down the shitter so they take there time!
u need to mk videos on how to cheat red prairie n others like it lms etc i remember at c&s we used to pick like 10 cases (at one time)type the location in on the lift truck computer one at a time..so u type it in tell the computer u put two..make another transaction in another area of the warehouse then put in that same location where u put the 10 cases..so the system think it took u 5 seconds to get from aisle 40 to aisle 55 our percent used to jump up like a million % lol
Like a ghost picking? I use to do that alot at DHL/NISA Livingston, UK! Like, have to put 100 products and they are already there, then you just confirm you put them and at the end of the assignment you just come back and take the full pallett, cheating the system :)))
I worked in a tesco warehouse, we wear a machine on our arm at the tesco warehouse, I forgot the name of the machine now. That machine measures performance. My performance was low, what should I do to improve performance?
Sorry but you working contrary to the principles of health and safety. You grab a box in one hand, jumps down from the truck while it moves. You bend your back when lifting boxes from the slots. Within next 3 -5 years you will visit the doctor abot your spin
Your perfectly right .I have worked around 5 months and when I've just dropped it to go to the hospital ,for fizioterapy and those kind of stuffs ,they just fired me .And now am sick,i have no insurance and I really don't know what can I do bcoz they really suck me
So these are the people that put stuff from 5 different aisles on the same roll cage that I then have to run frantically around stacking the shelves and missing my deadlines 💀
Hello. I like this video can i share it on my page? Im working to a company who is helping people finding jobs in the UK and we have a job exaxtly like this. So i would use this video for adverting if u dont mind! Kind regards
I was do the same in Poundland (Harlow) for 3 months. You lift so heavy things only for 7,70-7,83. Need to wrap the pallets on the wrapping machine and the cages manually. Need to be careful when change the LLOP battery also. If something is finish need to go to the" bank" to tell and wait to come the driver of the FLT to download it, sometimes takes 15-20 min for this. No more warehouses, i have done with this. So heavy work for only 7,83 this year. Door supervisor don't do nothing and take more than 9,00 or 10 per hr.
He's defrauding the bonus picking two at a time lol only timed to scan pick enter No pristine picking his back is going to be fooled after four yrs I've done this for twelve he should not be under the racking nxt isle let's see what he's doing wrong in this isle parks diagonal in middle of the isle we love pickers that do that inconsiderate, but moving on parked in middle again no room for flt over use of the horn always a head ache parellel parking blocking of the isle moving on
So...he has 3 cages on the back with all the doors facing inwards away from the pick slot. My job involves placing 3 cages on the back and I alternate the doors so that there are doors both sides. This gimp has made work for himself.
+Kapernakus07 Incorrect. I've worked in warehouses my whole life and 99 percent of people who do this work are uneducated. Many of which also have criminal records, as many warehouses are con friendly (which is fine btw). I speak from experience, so if you disagree with my assessment, at least choose another adjective to call me besides naive.
This was just a training, first and last experience in UK. Those fools with "education" should try out this job to get on ground. My parents can't afford my education. Thats way i earn it, and i got my own enterprise right now. So eat my.

Considering each cage goes to a different retail shop, your not only stupid, but the comment makes you out to be a simpleton.
This makes me so glad I'm getting an education.
