Puke pro tips: Put benches and chairs near ride exits. People will rest instead of puking. Also instead of employing a ton of handymen to clean, you can instead set what areas they're allowed to be in, which makes fewer handymen a lot more effective.
Gotta say, this ten-minute episode felt like one of the longer 20-30 minute episodes. And while that sounds like an insult, I LOVE this content, so spending more time engrossed in it is always better for me. This left no lingering bitterness of a sweet devoured too swiftly. Nicely done!
To be fair to the park guests, the air coaster going from 0 to (over)60 and back to 0 in two seconds is like half the world record and probably pulls enough g's to be lethal to anyone who isn't a trained fighter pilot.
Many of the Intamin hydraulic launched coasters do 0-60mph in two seconds or less and the air launched coasters can be even faster. Dodonpa, the largest of the "air powered vertical coasters" as depicted in RCT, did 0-112mph in 1.6s, over 3G of acceleration which was the fastest acceleration of any launched coaster. Hypersonic XLC, the other one, did 0-80mph in 1.8 seconds. These numbers still aren't close to levels that would be lethal - the human body can survive higher longitudinal accelerations than in any other direction. Top fuel dragsters hit about 5G during a race, reaching speeds over 100mph in less than a second. John Stapp holds the record, having survived 42G of acceleration while strapped to a rocket sled.
It seems like all of the replies missed the "to 0" part of your comment. Going from full acceleration to deceleration that quickly can't be good for you. The whiplash alone would be terrible.
Every reply ignoring the “going back to 0” part of your comment, I’m so sorry 😂 yes going 0-60 isn’t bad, but immediately braking back to 0 is gonna hurt
Hershey Park is so underrated. The front of StormRunner is INSANE and I don’t think my butt touched the seat at all on Candymonium. They have so many good coasters!!
RCT really has everything I like. Good artstyle, satisfying sounds, good progression etc. I just love the noise that a full park makes and when you hear the money "kaching" sound when people enter a big rollercoaster ride. It's just a nice experience.

I agree; the parks could also do something fun like "the first launch every hour is synchronized to the other identical rides" so that, like a clock striking the hour, a chorus of shrieks would wash over the park and amuse spectators.

Technically, everything can become Factorio if you're anxious enough. I'm constantly questioning the throughput of my ability to respond to texts and can't ever pump enough green science into avoiding public spaces.
As time goes on, I have increasingly been impressed with AA's narration. I had come to degrade; however, I eventually found myself to absorb some sophisticates English expressions and philosophical concepts like a sponge. I hope to participate in more journeys inside ourselves exploring deep caves of our existential matters as it was with the glorious path to success of the Worm Man. Thank you AA for your entertaining style and restlessness to provide the best for your viewer.
One of my tried & true favourite coaster designs was a steel launched coaster. Just a couple of station segments, one loop, and a ramp to let the coaster go up a ways before flying backwards back into the station. Guests can't get enough of them, and you can make one with the loop going left & another to the right so two coasters can sit nicely side by side. Space efficient and easy to blueprint! I recall making a real nice banked coaster too that I could stack one atop the other until I had a high rise of coasters and walking paths.
How many of these coasters do you really want to build in your starter park? You'll want a completely different design once you unlock logistics handymen.
Just a fun history lesson, Kennywood started as a picnic area with a single carrousel, expanding to having one of the first "Tunnel of Loves" known as the "The Old Mill" in 1901. So it's sensible to start a park with only a single ride.
A fresh new RC2 banger 👏🏻👏🏻 Cannot wait to watch this maybe 58 times until the next instalment of over-saturated 1998 pixel art magic. Hats off to you sir
I give it a max of three months before Marcel releases his own version of this lol I was also expecting it to be like, one rollercoaster that's set to be priced, then everything else was free lol.
The last time I played this game, I decided to only put in the most absolutely nauseating rides I could. I made rollercoasters like the Vomit Comet, Pukatron 3000, etc etc etc - and the best part is that I made sure to hire no janitors or have any garbage cans at all. The place was ankle-deep in puke. The name of my park: The Vomitorium.
I still find it hilarious that my geography teacher genuinely was number 1 in the world af Roller Coaster Tycoon in the early 2010’s (he showed us the stats once on a slow day) Mr [I’m not going to put in his full name] really was the goat, miss him, he got dicked over by my school’s directory and left. So did I after that year.
Two things you can do to combat the vomit. 1. Place benches on your paths. Nauseous guests will sit down on benches and their nausea will slowly deplete. Placing benches and bins on every other path tile is good practice. 2. If you have a particularly egregious ride that turns guests into puke factories, place a first aid stall next to the ride exit. Guests will go in, vomit in there, and then come out not sick anymore.
