@@unholydiver1095 I don´t think so, I mean, sure, most music is shit nowadays... But there´s always a few good songs here and there. They just get burried under the all the shitty ones.
Damn, I remember this song! This was a bad-ass rock anthem. I loved how it gave listeners a lesson on the history of rock. I remember doing a history project in the 6th grade based off this song. I cut out pictures of artists mentioned in this song, i.e. Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi etc. and wrote aout their acheivements and work and made a timeline-diorama thingy and played the cassette single of this song as I presented it to the class. Ah, school days!
If you are in England and visit the midlands Nottingham hosts the longest lasting glam metal night called WILDSIDE once a month. Its been going 20 years and is still very popular with all ages
I love this genre of music! What's with all the haters? a lot of ya'll need to seriously lighten up, there's a lot of music out there I don't like but I don't go around whining about it, if you don't like bands like Tuff listen to something else. Why are you watching videos that you don't like?
The all new generation (We're one big rocking) Rock n. Roll is communication (Ain't no violation) Boys will be boys. Girls, girls, girls (Scream and shout let it all out) Singing out loud (All around the world) i can just say;waw that is so good hehe;))
Yeah Tuff had it tough they definitely weren't as mainstream as Poison or GNR all those bands...But they were AWESOME!!! Great Video!! thanks for posting..
goddamn i loved these hair band days!!!! i got a zillion great memories atleast from like, 1989 til... about the time rikki rachtman stopped playing videos from 'one of his favorite bands'!! and you could go see 3 or 4 bands for 15bucks! trixter, poison and warrant came to vegas and we totally ran into someone from every band throughout the day... i was such a infatuated 14 year old girl that i passed out in the elevator at bally's when jerry dixon stepped on..... how cool was that!?
I don't think they're stricly a "pisstake" band... their songs are mainly jokes and not too serious but they've been playing that kinda music for over 20 years and they're really good at what they do =] I LOVE TUFF!
they are not widely spread know in America but up in Russia i hear this was one of there favorite bands back in the 80's i'm sure they still remember them there
I actually like Blink 182, but yeah even though though Kurt destroy Hair Metal, Nevermind was a pretty sweet album, and HairMetal had a whole decade, Grunge had like 3 years, Hair Metal is the victor
Pretty Boy Floyd is a hard rock band from Hollywood, California formed in 1987. They are most famous for their 1989 debut album Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz and the two singles from it; "Rock and Roll" and "I Wanna Be With You". The band broke up in 1991, but reformed in 1995 releasing several new records since that time. They continue on today.
Jim Gillette is also formerly of Tuff, so perhaps where that is where that persons confusion came in. Jim was in the band before Stevie moved out to LA.
@garypl09 im in highschool now, and all the bands you've just mentioned i listen to. i love hair metal, hard rock, and all things metal. very long and big hair to XD
I’m not sure you’re completely right Indie creators make good music. Right now it’s the best time to live because we can listen to music from all generations.
Some history on the song and the band... metalsludge.tv/tuff-diaries-12-ready-to-record-howard-benson-fm-station-jani-lane-court-hearing-and-a-playboy-playmate/
@toxintwins saying something like that is as ignorant as a donkey. Do u really think that 1 band alone could put an end to RnR?? Nirvana were part of grunge as many other band in that period. And btw that is just how music is...it goes forward like rock came after blues, progressive and hard after rock, metal after and so on...it's not about a single band but a much more big deal dude....and rock n roll is not dead and never will
Knew these guys growing up but by their real names. Todd Chaisson, George "Squiddly-Diddly" Manos and Mike "Crispy-Critter" Raimondo. Don't know who the singer is cuz Terry was in the band at the time. Good thing he bailed before they turned sissy-poser rock...ugh!!!!!
I'll admit I like Tuff, but is this an "official" video? It's terrible, you don't really even see the band. It's mostly just the crowd with some far-away shots of the band performing (probably not even this song!)
i think my 5 year old could write better lyrics that this!!! dont get me wrong i love the 80's but adding skid row is the youth gone wild, boys will be boys girls, girls, girls, what the f!!! I'm glad they only lasted for one summer!!
i hate rap and pop but they honestly have nothing to do with killing rock n roll it all thanx to kert cobain or how ever his name spelled also posers like papa roach and blink 182
Today's music is all cookie cutter BS. No one is Willing to break that mold nowadays for fear of not making it or being accepted by fans. Back in the day bands took risk and didn't care what people thought. They would fly their flag and didn't care. Now everyone is to worried about not being PC.
90 percent of metal music today is so serious. Music should make you want to have a good time. This band rocks.
Rock and Metal nowadays is shit, no matter what it is about.
Indeed! I do agree with you, dude (Don)!
Reflection of current times. 😕

I hope your teacher appreciated your efforts
this was a very underrated band loved there stuff.
AWESOME FRICKIN SONG!! Best music ever made came out in the 80's! Still love those "HAIR BANDS." Great memories of a simpler life.
I miss guitar solos and the whole band singing the chorus.
The music was fun and the chicks in the 80's rocked!!
If you are in England and visit the midlands Nottingham hosts the longest lasting glam metal night called WILDSIDE once a month. Its been going 20 years and is still very popular with all ages
If this song came out 2 years early and the video follow the lyrics,Tuff would had a platinum album easy.

Tuff was so underrated in the day!!
when i was in a band called Rippoff,we opened for Tuff at a club called the Mason Jar in Phoenix in 1989!
lonnyjaw What were these guys like? Were they partyers?
I don't think they're stricly a "pisstake" band... their songs are mainly jokes and not too serious but they've been playing that kinda music for over 20 years and they're really good at what they do =]
I LOVE TUFF!
...great chorus!
Girls girls girls, I'm sure thats a tribute to the Crüe
Jeeze ya think..
2:51 We're ONE big rockin generation! Tuff kept it real n true!!!
I never thought a music history lesson could be so rockin'!
haha. played with these guys a few times in the early nineties. had no idea they ever made anything of themselves.
BACK TO THE 80S MAN ..

GENIAL GROUPE !!!
I agree with you 100%!

I actually like Blink 182, but yeah even though though Kurt destroy Hair Metal, Nevermind was a pretty sweet album, and HairMetal had a whole decade,
Grunge had like 3 years, Hair Metal is the victor
sound and look just like POISEN
Wooooooooo good music
I remember seeing them on "Thunder and mud" a mud wrestling show hosted by Jessica Hahn

This song should be rock n roll hymn :D

i dig bands that sing about other bands and being on the road holy cliche
Killer bass lines
Come on Ozzy
Stevie sounds like Alice Cooper with Bret Michaels!
Jim Gillette is also formerly of Tuff, so perhaps where that is where that persons confusion came in. Jim was in the band before Stevie moved out to LA.
Hey he is married to Lita ford....lucky bastard ..
its rock n roll ,even today the don't know what music is...
terry(fox)davis i have known that guy for years, good singer! living in arkansas now, takes care of his dad, good dude.thats who the fuck terry is.
Hell yeah 🇮🇹🤘
@garypl09 im in highschool now, and all the bands you've just mentioned i listen to. i love hair metal, hard rock, and all things metal. very long and big hair to XD

Tuff never got what they deserved.
alright stevie! woot!
Tuff was a good band to bad they never made it as big as some other bands.
The cute girl at 1:50 reminds me of the late great Amanda Peterson.
without a doubt, looks just like her
\m/ born in ‘01 but hair metal rules
gene simmons of kiss says rock and roll is dead lets prove him wrong
Yes we can especially now
So.. are we gonna do something or.. ?
Now my generations music sucks! I want the old new generation not my new new generation.
I’m not sure you’re completely right Indie creators make good music. Right now it’s the best time to live because we can listen to music from all generations.
Jeffrey Muu gosh, this was for three years ago. My views have totally changed. 😂 I like all genres & generations of music now.
Carmen McG Eve
Sorry then I thought like this once too.
@@jeffreymuu5451 Not current music.
Maybe if I whisper rock n roll real soft it'll echo through generations and naturally turn up it's own dial.
@TheSangojasonfrance don't say you hate todays music couse there are still few new glam bands which are awesome :D
Oops, meant "wrote ABOUT" on post below
when did bret michaels join tuff ; )
Cowbell prescription filled and taken, fever suppressed.
More cowbell \m/
Where do you get those shirts and hats? this is my favorite band but i cant even find a cd in stores from these guys.
Like glam but only AOR rules the world!!
he looks exactly like bret michaels
Im 19 years old but i hate music today.....I like Glam rock,.,.,yeahhhhh
Some history on the song and the band...
metalsludge.tv/tuff-diaries-12-ready-to-record-howard-benson-fm-station-jani-lane-court-hearing-and-a-playboy-playmate/
TUFF didn’t get the chance because when they came out that garbage grudge came out these guys looked as good as they sounded
Not the dead person how are you
This is a mix of motley crue and poison
This is absolutely why "hair metal" had to die!!!
A lil bit like Bret Micheals too.
This is better than grunge/poser band nirvana, pearl jam crap.
I love this song, but even for a standard hair metal video(band playing for crowd, showing girls in the audience etc..) this sucks. \m/\m/

my mistake...
Dude...u paid George for guitar lessons.
Looks more like Axl Rose than Bret
I'll admit I like Tuff, but is this an "official" video?
It's terrible, you don't really even see the band. It's mostly just the crowd with some far-away shots of the band performing (probably not even this song!)
naw, infact i hate rap long live the hair metal!!!
POISON MÖTLEY CRÜE AND TUFF AND PRETTY BOY FLOYD.
no they dont well maby stixx but the rest of them all have real hair
Still better than king kobra
i think my 5 year old could write better lyrics that this!!! dont get me wrong i love the 80's but adding skid row is the youth gone wild, boys will be boys girls, girls, girls, what the f!!! I'm glad they only lasted for one summer!!
Love the song and still have the tape...but this video is crap!
Metallica and Megadeth was cool but they fucked it all up during the 90's
Too bad they arrived a bit too late to make it big in the 80s
That had more to do with the terrible songwriting. Tuff is what you get if you order Poison from Wish.
You can blame crap rap and pop music for that.
Try itunes
this is goofy.
i hate rap and pop but they honestly have nothing to do with killing rock n roll it all thanx to kert cobain or how ever his name spelled also posers like papa roach and blink 182
