As this video clearly demonstrates, LOUDNESS were on the verge of making it big in the Western Hemisphere, then, they were suffocated by the Grunge Movement. Whoever posted “You Shook Me,” I thank you,. “SOLDIER OF FORTUNE” is a masterpiece.
This band has definitely stood the test of time and then some!! Akira T. is one of the strongest lead guitarist of his day. I remember when i was in high school rockin out to this album and many others. So grateful to be a part of the generation that never stopped KICKIN' ASS!!
Now that was a perfectly-constructed and executed shred solo, as opposed to a lot of shredders who's solos are only comprised of random sweep arpeggios and alternate-picked speed runs that make no melodic sense.
One of my favourite albums of all time, Soldier Of Fortune. Akira Takasaki is phenomenal, Vescara´s best vocal work to day, every song is quality. RIP Munetaka Higuchi, what a powerhouse of a drummer he was ! Taken too early from this world.
Very good album owned it multiple times, Sorry for your loss, hope you hold up. If this was his favorite band he was probably a very cool cat. Certainly had good taste in music.
Wayne A Dude!!! Killer band. I like EZO a little more than Loudness. Educate me if you don’t mind. Loudness came out slightly before EZO?! Masaki Yamada left EZO and joined Loundness in 1992? I feel so stupid, didn’t realize Loudness released over 20 albums.
Absolutely skull crushing ..I do remember them but hearing them just now I dont believe they got the credit they deffinetly deserved..one more on my playlists tonight Rock on brothers!!
Feel better everyone because I use Iheart Radio on the Michael Schenker mode and this song plus the rest of that album are highlighted. And as much as I love the guitar, the singer kills this song. His best work.

This whole album is so unappreciated. This song is a total gem but how many rockers have never heard it? Akira is tearing it up!

I saw the same show, Mick Mars (not shabby) not even the same league with Akira. Motley Crue should have opened for them instead.
I believe that.

I love this entire cd. In my opinion its Akiras best guitar playing.
The loudness definitely gets overlooked when talking about the best metal bands... Rock on Loudness, much love from the US!!!
This band is so underrated!
In my opinion he was the japanese DIO 👍
It's not underrated since they're my favorites, that's enough for them to be considered the best.
Mike Vescara , the voice of Obsession! Sounding damn good here.
