22:37 Personally, I think the battle of Umbara was the highlight of the season. It had incredible, brutal action combined with intricate storytelling showing the true pain of the clones and it really developed characters like Rex, Fives and other clones, as they have to directly disobey their programming that they knew their entire life in order to do the right thing. Not to mention Pong Krell, one of the most despicable characters in the show and reflected how real-world generals act towards their troops. The last moments of the arc are also very heavy, as Rex, Fives, Tup and others contemplate on their purpose and what will happen to them when the war ends.
Overall, it was just perfect storytelling.

I also really like how well the character development was handled in the show. A notable example is Fives, who went from being a seemingly insignificant clone to the man who nearly revealed the truth about Order 66 to the Jedi before being shot and killed.

They just took three arcs from there, the seige of Mandalore, The Bad Batch and the third one I'm not certain if it's Boba's conflict with Cad Bane. It's not like Disney is rewriting the entire thing. They just came in last minute to finish the animation. The reels are on RUclips, you can tell from the trailers alone that they got the scenes from there.

    Great video and great content.
Few things i would like to add personally if its okay.
    1) one thing that should be more highlighted upon is how it was shown the relationship between the jedi and the clones.
how clones were always shown between the lines of being puppets/slaves for the jedi or brothers in arms.specially the episodes with Jedi Krell, the trust between jedi and clones were heavily argued and I loved how they brought more in depth view on it.
    2) Next would be the criticizing of the Jedi Order. It was shown how many people felt as though the Jedi has becomes puppets for the republic in itself. Jedi are peace keepers not mercenaries or soldiers.
    3) Similarly to the jedi, it was shown how the government & most people treated clones as less than animals . They were mostly seen as cannon fodder and can always be reproduced.
    4) The DROIDSS.. specially the B1 Battle droids. loved all their interactions and dialog. It gave the series a much needed comedic relief.
ps: Captain Rex deserves his own number on that list. His character buildup and relationship with Anakin and Asoka, along with the action sequences he got made it so great.

I grew up with this show, and personally became attached to this show. It provided so much interesting material that we never got to experience during the prequel trilogy, such as the battle of umbara where we got see in more detail about how the clones feel. I also adored how we got more fights with count dooku, in which he really shined during this series giving us intense, and elegant fights. And we also received a lot of information about sub factions, like we got information about the nightsisters, death watch, and bounty hunters by getting whole arcs dedicating to their development. But my favorite scene is when darth sidius fights darth maul, and savage opress

The next best happens one episode later, when Maul and Savage fight Sidious on Mandalore.
It's crazy how an animated show can have better action sequences than the films lol Maul vs Pre Vizsla wasn't just a flashy lightsaber duel, it was a brutal fight, to the death with plenty of punches thrown, knees, faces smashed, and life and death stakes.

For me is funny all those "The Clone Wars is not for kids" coments when most of those who watched it were kids when they did. It has brutal death yes, but only when you think about them, but none is explict, there is no blood and majority of kills happened in seconds and are forgotten and treated like nothing by the next scene, so is not even that impactfull. They dont even treated or showed death that much until older seasons when the audience was older too. It was more of a "Growing with the audience" thing.

    A few other reasons:
Bounty Hunters/Criminal Underworld: Cad Bane is my all time favorite character bc of this show. He’s a complete badass. Aurra Sing, Boosk, Embo and Boba Fett are used so well just like the criminal syndicates like the Pykes and the Black Sun
Asajj Ventress: Her entire arc is unmatched. She went from a one dimensional assassin to a reliable, vulnerable but strong bounty hunter.
Honda Ohnaka: Another all time favorite of mine. Even tho he’s used as comedy relief, he literally steals every scene he’s in and has a big impact in the show and even in Rebels.

If they didn't change anything but make it live action, it'd be right there with The Mandalorian if not better. The stories and the feels were so good in this series, you cared for the characters. I agree with your whole list which is weird to type because it doesn't happen often. :) Thanks for the video!

Some of the points and things that we “haven’t seen before” we have though. They were in Clone Wars and it was cool stuff then too. Though I agree that it was awesome to see them in this version too.

I love the clone wars. Rewatched the entire series 5 times. It is the most hidden gem in star wars. I'm slowly convincing my friend group to start watching it, and they all love it once they start.

Yeah, it was the best Star Wars i have ever watched. There were so many interesting stories which have been revealed in this series. My favorites are: Ashoka, Obiwan Kenobi’s lost love, Asaji Ventress, etc.
Hopefully Disney won’t destroy it like they did with Rebels.
