I heard your demo and I had to buy it! This plugin is unreal! It just works for me personally as I find it very responsive to playing nuances unlike any modeller or other plugins. It's also very easy to dial in and sits well in mixes. This is my first ML plugin and I'm really impressed.
I love the ML Fluff2c as well, but I think Mikko has done his masterpiece with the ICON! I´m totally blown away! The ML Soundlab ICON can compete with all the NDSP-PlugIns and that for an affordable price! No, Mikko hasn´t paid me to write this, I´m just so enthused! 😅 The demosongs are awesome, as usual! All these ideas should be worked out with a band!
To my ears it sounds almost perfect. Clean and hi gain sounds very good. Warm, organic, tight, clear, articulate. With a blindtest I would think it was real amps. Completely amazed by how close the amps sims are from the real amps. Great video
I tried this amp sim demo. And it is sooooo goood. I'm surprised the hi gain mode with default 55555 preset is already sound very good. I just need to tweak it a little bit and it's perfect. And btw, I used my own favorite IR combination and that's what surprise me the most. Usually I need to tweak any amp sim to sound good in that particular IR combination, but ICON just fits right away. Not only that, this amp sim also has the best feel compared any previous MLSL products. Mikko needs to redo all his best selling amp sims with this new algorithm.
Daanng sounded like the real thing..I have a Iconic halfstack...had too get it after I dialed in a sound my other amps do not offer me that I loved. It's loose like an Orange.....but so not an orange. I love the Hi gain channel with the gain at 2.5 and the boost on at 2 on the real amp.
@@SonicDriveStudio thanks for the input and super fast too 😳. I thought it was tighter and a bit less fuzzy. Plus you get two cabs off the bat. Pretty tight as well.
What do you guys think? Toit like a tigah?
From the very first demo, toit loike a toigah and hard like Frau Farbissina’s ass. Me likey.

Sounds amazing. Have you tried neurontube? It is also AI based, very close to the real thing. Also free to use. Keep it up!
Incredible tones! Tight and present. Perfect sit in a mix 🥰
Thanks and great job with this plugin! Getting great tones with this plugin is effortless!
Love what Mikko is putting out recently! Great demo!

better then ndsp if you ask me and yes way cheaper in price!
@@ruddmedia and I literally go ape because of V2 of the ML5!

Love this plug-in! Gorgeous, tight, clear and heavy tones for days!
Mikko does great stuff. Good job man! I like the new demo song you did with the Stephen Carpenter guitar!
I don't know what more one could ask for. ML Sound Lab, take a bow. I think that's the closest thing to perfect I've heard. 👏🤘👍😎
I was searching real Iconic demo on your channel few month ago and didn't found. I was surprised you didn't test it :D
I wouldn't mind trying one
That's wickedly awesome 🤘🤘🤘🤘. You're playing style is sic bro 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Would be nice to show your mix chain and stuff. You make everything sound NOICE!

The 5153 and ML5 have the 2.0 update
Sounds good! I'm not sure how it stacks up to the real Iconic but it does seem to have some nice grit and fatness. 🤘

5:04 Wait a hot damn minute... this full mix was without a boost pedal?!
I really like your riffs and I dig the sparkly clear arpeggio. What's the tuning of your LTD Phoenix Deluxe 1000?
It sounds really very good !
Sounds sick, john i think its time for a E.P. with all these cool riffs eh, just saying.
I join the others: fantastic plugin.🤘
Warning Jon makes things sound better than they are. Sound wise that is
Nah, there's no processing on the guitar sounds
No it actually sounds this good
sick playing sounds fucking tight
It sounds like a plugin, awesome playing as always.
Well, you know it's a plugin.. so of course your brain is going to say that 'it sounds like a plugin'. You could never tell the difference though.
Sounds cool for a plug in; how do you record this video ?
Sounds tight
This vs the fluff 5150. I say that because you get 3 other amps with it. Still the icon?
This one is a little bit more versatile imho, more all round

Anyone still having the solid state vs tube argument is silly to me. If it sounds great it doesn’t matter how it got there IMO
