You are so good with all of these tone videos for the gt1. I just got mine for Christmas and I'm going to be plugging it in soon once my audio interface cable shows up.
The key to Summers’ sound comes from 2 stomp boxes: an MXR Dyna Comp and an Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress. The compressor gives consistent body to each note in the chords while the Electric Mistress is dialed to a chorus-like effect instead of the usual flanging sweep. An Echoplex set to a single repeat, with the echo volume the same as the dry volume, creates a simple rhythmic effect with a characteristic feel courtesy of overlapping resonant sustain that can’t be duplicated simply by playing two strokes in quick succession.
Thanks! Just bought a GT-1 and made a Roxanne patch now I have this too! I used the natural clean preamp with a little break up then chs, dly, reverb, limiter in that order.
Hi Josh do you have settings for some of the medleys you play? I play lots of Sixties numbers and Shadows instrumentals. Can you get these abounds by adding reverb and echo or is there more to it than that? Cheers Ke
Kenneth Borrett Hi Kenneth, all of the medley patches are available at my website www.guitarfxpatches.com and in answer to your question, yes there is definitely more to it but you can get a similar type of tone by adding some delay and reverb but of course it's all in how you use them... Josh.

It’s not showing the compression settings that you had when it said Boss
Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by that. At 4:27 it shows the Compressor settings that I describe. Which did you mean?
@ I mean on mine it’s the F1:Tone Modify
