My 3650 has been going strong behind my swap since 2014. Never ran drag tires tho. So that might be the reason

I’m currently stuck with this very problem on my motor swap. I got a damaged 3650 laying in the floor but I really want to go with the T56. I really don’t want to spend the money fixing the 3650 when I know it won’t survive the new motor.
Gforce T-5 is my vote. You get the beautiful shifts you'd expect from a T5 with the strength you need
As long as the T-5 was doing fine when it was pulled(can't remember if it went w/ the motor) I'd stick it back in for now. If not get a used one and rebuild it. I've seen many t-5's and T-45's live with over 400whp for years. It just depends what clutch you use and if you're redlining it every other shift. It's going to cost a good bit to even convert to a used T-56 even if you don't rebuild it. If it were me, I'd run the T-5 until I had the money to either get a used T-56 and rebuild it or get a new one.

my local junkyard had a couple gen 4 camaros with t56's thats how i got mine just needed the adapter bell housing
Hanlon Motorsports. Bob is a cool dude. Give him a call. He’s been a Foxbody stickshift guru since I can remember in the mid 90’s. He built my TR3650 and you’ll be surprised on cost. You really can’t go wrong with him, he’ll walk you through the process of what your looking to do with your ride and go from there. They also carry tko’s, magnums, t45, t5, and TR3650’s. If you have one laying around he’ll take it as a core as well. Hit me up!

3650 trans will work. I put one in my daughters 90 coupe coyote swap. Bellhousing sucks trying to get it between the bbl swap headers.

Do it right the first time. you know getting everything done and putting a 3650 sounds like a good scape goat. When it comes down to it you just want to drive that thang not put in extra wrench time cause you wanted to save money now rather then later. 💯

I got my coyote ready now Im hunting a part number for an engine control module for a manual car.
If you want to go fast stuff a 6R80 in it & use the Power by the Hour 4R200 Hub Kit - assuming you have the trans laying around the compound.
That's what's going in mine with a 3800 stall.

T56 magnum $4700 shipped to my door. Wish I would of done it from the start. Stay away from the mt82 with damn near 4:1 first gear would be worthless in a fox unless you were running like a 3.31 rear gear

Iv got a 16 gt stage two whipple supercharged with an mt-82 need something that’s gonna handle the 724 rwhp. The t56 magnum the way to go in your opinion? Any clutch suggestions? Any advice is appreciated!
Can you un modernize a coyote. Old school it.. carburated and a factory transmission...I'm not a fan of electronics.
Doesn't the T56 use hydraulic clutch? The one that I have is set up for hydraulic throw out bearing.

what swap headers and k member can we run with Tr3650 trans ? without having crazy amount of fitment issues
D&D Performance Sells a t56 that is built probably with an adapter.
I'm gonna be running into the same problem... I think i'm gonna run a 3650 till i get the magnum. But then again... You said MGW makes a shifter for the MT82 to work and i want to run a hydraulic clutch so that may be a better option even tho they may be "junk" lol

Foxcast Media D&D sells a complete kit for 4400$. Bell, crossmember driveshaft and all. Even tho that might be "expensive" still. Theyre known to hold up to 1000HP. And would run almost the same with a new TKO500/600.
Find out if the make a bell housing adapter for the cd009 to coyote. Trans is bullet proof and it’s only 1200 brand new from Nissan I think. But I’m sure this an old video

I just picked up an 3650 for my coyote swap with only 30k miles on it . Under 500 bucks .I'm going to run it until it gives out and then rebuild the 3650 to handle more power. I just want to drive the car now .lol

Foxcast Media I have a bubby of mines did a coyote swap on he's 1969 falcon hes put a 3650 with it and that was 3 years ago. . I can hold up well as your not revving 7k all the time.

Forget T5...They are junk...I would say get a TR3550...good reliable...yes notchy, but it should live for a while behind some beatings. I have a built one living behind my blown 357w. Less whining...more building!

No STOCK T56 of any configuration will shift at 7500 rpms.....PERIOD. ANYTHING built to do so will cost $$$$. Now you may not shift that high with a stock intake manifold, but you would with a Boss. A used T56 won't shift at 7K either, unless you get one that was prepped to do so.
You know what to do. You said it at the end of the vid. Put the model of transmission you want to use and then build it/one when you have the money.

Have you rode in one of the 18's? I have a 91' Strawberry coupe (bought new) and just wonder how sick one of those new E85 Coyotes with the 10 speed would be in a 3000 pound Fox.
Always been a stick man, but the new automatics are the way to go. Plus my old school 3550 shifts like crap lol.
After seeing the F150 Mustang Killer video on youtube it made me rethink the 10 speed auto coyote swap in a fox with paddle shifters. Both my Mustangs are manual and I DO LOVE to row gears....BUT the paddles shifting 10 speed shifts faster than any manual and those transmissions can take beatings! Something to consider for sure
