I mean it's gonna cost a decent bit but compared to what it costs to get a pushrod Windsor up to par as far as na and boosted power it would likely cost just as much if not more and it wouldn't drive as nicely and probably wouldn't get the kind of life or mpg a stock coyote can. I think the ideal route with a truck motor would be a ported boss or 18 manifold and l&m intake only cams because it's only the intake cams that are different once you do this it's just as good as a mustang motor with the same mods gen 1 truck motors have 10.5:1 compression vs 11:1 for the gt but the gen 2 and 3 have 11 and 12:1 respectively for the truck motors same as the mustangs gen 2 and 3. So if you wanna do a max effort na budget build gen 1 truck motor is best if you wanna do max effort boost budget swap it would be a gen 2 truck motor.

Hi there, I’m inquiring about your expertise in up grading a 1991 Mustang 5.0 from a 4 lug to 5 lug. What mustang year w/ 5 lug will be a direct bolt on to a 1991 Mustang 5.0? I figure it’s cheaper to by an axel than by the entire caliper conversation kit from LMR. Plus, I want to upgrade to a 31 spline for a coyote swap later on.
94-95 you can swap the front spindles and the 8.8n from it. We have also used 96-01 but it requires full suspension to correct the geometry and it pokes out further so you need different offset wheels. We have done both successfully.

What do you think of a swap on a 1986 mustang SVO car is underpowered with a 4 cyl turbo. Have done race tune and bigger turbo but still too slow. Coyote looks more reasonable Let me know your thoughts
Do you really have to change intake cams? Would an F150 motor with an intake, TB, and headers along with decent tune (Maybe Flex-fuel) still make good power. Thinking about running it through a Tremec TKX with 3.73 out back. Might do 4.10 but this car will driven a lot.
You don't have to change them it's still gonna make alot of power just not as much it'll be more torque oriented but less power up top. If you swap the manifold it isn't gonna perform nearly as well as it should with those cams holding it back. I would change to l&m intake only cams. Those with a ported boss can prob see 450+ rwhp on 93 with headers.
Also if you're running a long geared 5 or 6 speed like that do NOT fear the gear with a coyote even with the truck stuff no way I'd go less than 410. If you change out the cams and intake manifold like you should you can make killer power to 7800 rpm or better then you'd need 430 or 456 with that trans. You gotta understand 456 with that gearing is kind of like 373 with the 11-17 mt82 trans as far as the first 4 gears. They geared the manual very aggressively for the coyote which makes them not need super aggressive gears like 456 that is why 373 is plenty steep in those. In that tkx 373 won't be enough and trust me when I tell you don't go less than 4.10 bare minimum. 410 with the truck stuff and 456 with ported boss and l&m intake cams (my recommendation) and thank me later. That is a deep 10 second car on the right suspension and tire with the driver mod.

What is the part number for the holly terminator kit you got? I’m swapping a 2013 coyote with a built TR3650 Trans and was going to get a Ford racing control pack, but I like the idea of a holly one better.
Also besides cams, do I have to get new coil pack from a coyote mustang, or will the kit plug and play with the F-150 coyote coil packs and firing sequence?
Coyote easily. Building a proper pushrod that can handle good power especially with a dart block that you're gonna need to go above 500 reliably it would actually cost more than a coyote does. The entire swap might end up being little more on the coyote side but not by much you can do coyote and a turbo or blower and make 700 rwhp with a stock untouched long block even more if you go gen 2 coyote. It will still run smooth like a stock car. Coyote for sure.

Would one of those crank a pallets setups be easier
Not necessarily.
Just seems that way since they have pretty much everything you’ll need from a donor car
I mean its oem stuff and wont all work so thats why i say not really
See thats what I was unsure of . Would you happen to know what oem stuff would be unusable?
Was wondering if the coyote engine would fit in the new edge mustang factory “K” member?? Any room for headers or manifolds ?
technically yes
It does its the oil pan that has clearance issues
Is it possible to coyote swap a mk1 ford granada, im new to this so im not really sure how to go about it. There isnt a motor in it currently
Probably yeah
I have a 2020 3.5 eco boost with a 10 speed. For my 79 coupe. What engine mounts and k member do I need?

Are you located in az ? If so where ? Ive been having trouble finding a knowledgeable person on foxbodys around here and i can use some real advice(quotes if possible )on my restoration
We are in Florida. We do take vehicles in on shipment and build them that way. We dont recommend any of the shops we know of in AZ.
I have a 2010 4.0 v6 that I want to swap does it fit in anything like I've been hearing
Yes
i was waiting for the cheap part and not just ordering everything from the big companies. how about making your own control pack for under 200 dollars
still the budget way to do it!
What is the part number for the holly terminator kit you got? I’m swapping a 2013 coyote with a built TR3650 Trans and was going to get a Ford racing control pack, but I like the idea of a holly one better.
Also besides cams, do I have to get new coil pack from a coyote mustang, or will the kit plug and play with the F-150 coyote coil packs and firing sequence?
send us a PM on facebook or ani email and we can sell you the kit. Also it should work just fine
Sounds good, I messaged you!
Roger that
Can I put a booster from a 1996 cobra to my 1989 foxbody?
yes
Hi I'm looking for a cheap truck. motor. Where should I look for them??
LKQ, ebay, facebook
380 HP will be enough for me for a while ;)
380 rwhp isnt shabby
@@automafiaracing especially since I'm planning on buying a 4cyl foxbody
Sounds fun
Is an 85 mustang gt a good candidate for a Coyote engine swap???
very good choice! Less electronics
@@automafiaracing thanks bro !!!👍👍
Would it be better to do a coyote swap in my 1989 lx or build the stock 302
if you have the money coyote ALL DAY
Coyote easily.
That new edge budget build shell would cost $5000 in Ohio
Keep in mind this was pre covid
Is an mt82 transmission an option for a fox body
Ive heard of a few people doing it.
I’m trying to swap a fox body with a coyote, but I want to go the automatic route what transmission do I go with ?
6r80 with a stock ecu conversion we sell. or a powerglide or th400 or even a 4r70
I'd go 6r80
What year Mustang was your donor car what years work?
2011+
@@automafiaracing was that the year of that black car you had ouitside you took the k- member and brakes out of?
Or u can buy a newer mustang ?
Or a Supra, Z car.
I just got a NEW RACE F 150.
May buy a new 911.

Well tune it
Would you guy be interested in coyote swapping my fox?
No. hahaha. Yes we can 100% once we are fully back open for work. But we are only going to do them the right way which isnt cheap.
@@automafiaracing okay I understand it’s not cheap. Is their a contact I can call to get on the schedule?
More like part one of let me flap my gums
Thanks for watching the gum flapping!
It's might be a strange question why not put a the new 7.3L in a foxs? No automatic Possibly a 6 speed or 7 speed . I like manuals Let stand the BS way out.
Well its pretty $$ for 1. I am sure people will and are already doing it though. We like the coyote!
Are you located in Texas
No we are located in Florida.
@@automafiaracing where in Florida? I'm also in FL and building my 89 fox
I have a basically fully stock 1987 Ford Mustang 5.0 in great condition my goal is to swap a third gen mustang coyote engine and take my 302 v8 out. The engine is roughly 9 thousand. what price range am I looking at for upgrades to support the new engine roughly another 9 thousand?
depends on what exact parts you want to use
Give me a call park price?? For an 01 cobra
Send us an email. Swaps are pretty much $10,000-$50,000 depending on options you want to put in it.
One of the Craig’s must of passed away 2:15 , rip
Huh
LoL got it now
Only 400 hp that's really not worth all the hassle to swap you can get 400 plus out of 351 for less money
Thats stock
There's no such thing as a budget build ;)
hahah i mean budgets come in all sizes.
Foxes are way nicer than new edge mustangs 😤
Truw

Budget minded guys just put an LS.
