Lee Enfield SMLE .177 BB Comparison

The Lee Enfield is my most powerful and accurate BB rifle so thought I would test some different types of ammo through it.
I normally use the recommended genuine ammo but it shoots the other quality types of BB’s just as well apart from the Dust Devils, these oval shaped variable size things rarely work in any of my magazine fed guns and as you can see today was no exception with one of them jamming the magazine before it even got in gun.
Rifle is zeroed at 35 metres at moment so that’s why it’s a bit low on the target at 10 metres, I happily shoot this against most more powerful spring and Co2 powered pellet rifles using open sights on a fun plinking day on the outside range.
It was a bit of a problem gun when new as it was only number 4 off the production line but some fettling has sorted it out now and I’ve shot a later version and that shot perfect out of the box.
