A.I. was still the best player in the league at that time. His game didn't destroy the balance of the offense,he would take his many shots through the offense. Plus he was at the top in assists and steals. kobe scored 2 more points but just because he shot the ball more but he was less skilled than A.I., plus he didn't contribute enough in other aspects of the game while receiving for free all nba defensive team honors.
