I’m amazed by how many long mid range jumpers they attempted. Not because they’re bad shots but because of how today’s league only wants threes and layups.
Back in the day, efficiency was based on distance from the basket. Most players and coaches thought that 3 pt shots were worse shots than mid range shots (except foot on the 3 pt line twos) because they were shot from 22+ feet out. However, mid range shots also keep defenders honest instead of only defending the 3 point arc or the paint. Nearly every star perimeter player from the 2000s had an elite mid range game, even solid guys like Rip Hamilton and Sam Cassell had one.
boris had it at the end i dont know why he didnt shoot it, instead he went into a crowded lane and tried to draw a fould that refs would never call?? crazy if you ask me
Before injuries, Arenas was on his way to becoming a hall of famer
Big facts
Don’t forget him making a horrible decision In the locker room
@@williamgalloway4063 it was his knee injury stop acting like the locker room had any impact on his lvl of play that doesnt even make sense lmao
@@archiveplug1819 ma’am talking about the gun incident that happened. The hell you talking about.

@@spiidey1It was beautiful basketball. Much prefer it to the current league
Because they couldn’t make 3pt
@@krka5707 the all time 3 point % leader came from that era. So did the top 2 in makes before Curry laced them up
@@spiidey1 very true. Especially Sam, he was underrated
Gilbert's shooting touch literally might've been on the level of TMAC
@Rodzilla true but there were no dames or stephs back then so he didnt really need to be great to stop his position
Bruh had his shooting badges on HOF
Steve and Nash had two great duels. This one and the other Gil had like 54 and Nash had 42 I believe. Awesome upload
Gil was a monster
The day I was born.
When the nba was a game and it really mattered
I miss this Wizards team! Gil was a certified killer!
loved that suns team, maybe the precursor of today's playstyle
Gil was so fast
Did agent zero ever sport a fade?
Great game agent zero was the truth Nash was great as well.
Karl HK Good times
He had fades in his hair on the side but not a full on fade like some other dudes.
Nope, same cut
shout out to the coach who drew that last play
Well if Amare was playing no way they wudda lost to the wizards
Anytime Gilbert's playing. His opponent always has a chance to lose no matter what players are in.
Bro Agent Zero was on a whole different level. They probably would’ve still won because Gilbert killed them midrange
@@uncleiroh7967 Unless it was Miami of course.
1 4 flat
