Got in on that blitz from 1130-2, by far the most epic fishing I've had by land. High fish at 40" multiple 35"+, had to of caught 30+ .... I was sad to leave to make Thanksgiving dinner on time.
Holy shit that underwater footage of the bass taking the bait fish was epic dude, particularly the bass that swims by with a fish sticking out of its mouth!
Ya'll are done up in parts of NJ and the bass haven't even come to MD and DE yet. Late one this year mainly bc the water is in the mid 50s. Hoping they don't skip us this year like they did the past 3. Nice video man!

Pompano Bay Rods tells me it is $500 (FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS) to DELIVER a custom made rod. Materials and build expense are as expected and in line with others. I live in New England, it's not like I'm in Australia (where it still shouldn't cost $500...to ship a rod). Flat rate $500 to ship the rod from pompano. Couldn't get a reply that made any sense from them. Hope the locals really like their product. Can you provide any input about that cost, Chris? Because they can't...

Last year was so amazing for surf stripes, makes me sad that this year was so horrible.... Not 1 NJ surf stripe for me. Can't complain too much but man those 2016 blitzes were just so amazing.
