I just ordered the Laco Stuttgart PRO 40 mm, Topgrade Auto movement, bright date display, blue dial with printing Laco/Made in Germany with the black leather strap. I can’t wait to get it. Thanks for the great video review!
I have the 37mm version, love it. I just wish that the bracelet finishing was on the same level as the case because there is a bit of a difference. I like the idea of new dials colours but I'd prefer to see matte gray, green, blue. Sunburst to my mind might not be the best fit for a tool watch like this.
@@ahmedtech090 i would still get the bracelet, i can't speak for the bigger sized versions but on the 37mm it balances it out, on the strap it looks dainty.
@@lengx.9798 that's disappointing to hear, the brushing on mine wasn't great but it didn't have any sharp edges. Recently I bought some abrasive pads and went over the bracelet with 600 and 800 grit ones. One direction, steady hand about 60 times each and the bracelet now looks stunning, fine satin finish. If I can do that at home I don't know why it can't come like that from the factory.
For me, this ticks off all the boxes, even boxes I didn't have until watching this video! (like being able to spec it out to my ideal configuration and budget). As you say, prices of Sinns have been really going up, and this in every way scratches the same itch. Even more so if heritage is one of your boxes.
Man Sinn really needs to take notes on the lume here. The amount of customization Laco gives is amazing. And that blue is perfect! I much prefer blue because not only is it a little more versatile than black, it's also much more dynamic. In some lighting situations it actually looks like black, but can also be a very vibrant blue in others. I think the ONLY thing they could add that would make it perfect in my eyes is a double locking foldover clasp with micro adjust like the 556 H-link bracelet. I don't really care for butterfly clasps.
Cracking watch👍🇩🇪 I own a 37mm A dial black - now my most worn watch. Would be great to see your Lacos, its truely a great brand. Damn, this blue dialed version is sweet...
Awesome review as always. I wonder if you could do a comparison video between this and the IWC Mark XX. I understand they are on a different price bracket, but it seems you get pretty close with this one.
I was always partial to Stowa. I owned a few of these, and the Stowa was the best. IWC makes the best bracelet by a mile, but I could never stump up $4,000 for it. Lord knows what they cost now. I paid $900 for my Stowa, but that was a long time ago. I tried a Steinhart, and the strap was seriously awesome, but the case sucked, and it had cheap blue hands. They looked like anodized aluminum. Just cheap shit. I did once see a really nice fauxtina Laco, but it was $2,000. I have no idea what Stowa costs now, but that one was really nice. That said, if Laco has a good bracelet, I would go with that. There is a brand called Aristo, but I never tried it. I would love a well-finished case a bracelet quartz chronograph, basically a La Petite Price, but in quartz with a thinner case. I would pay $1200 or so for that. You are so right with the cost of Sinn. I understand the high cost of the Chronographs, but why is the 556 so expensive?
Hello Mark. Do you mind letting me know the main difference between the Elabore and the Top grade? Is it worth the bump in price in terms of reliability & longevity of the movement?
I like this watch a lot and considered the Laco but ended up getting the Archimede Pilot 39 spec the way I wanted bracelet and date window for way less than Laco or Stowa.
I own a 40mm Type A Stuttgart Pro with black dial, but plan to get a 37mm in blue as well sometime next year. In 95% of viewing, it's really like an off-white, not a pure, bright white. It does have a slight yellow/green tinge to it, and that's what you get with the green Superluminova, but if I look down at my watch I don't see "green". It's very attractive to look at.
a German manufacturer would never call something "SS". it would be totally forbidden here in Germany. apart from that, great configuration. the blue dial looks really great and the stainless steel bracelet would also be my choice
You guys became too snowflake imo and I feel you're staying behind as a country. Russia's GDP just passed yours. Move on, your country is great. Be proud
I was thinking the same thing. The bracelet is sub-par. I'd pay quite a bit more if the bracelet was upgraded. Brushed/Polished, quick-adjust, quick release, screwed links, etc., it would be extremely competitive. An SW300 base would be good too.
I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the #MAMACOO we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake
@@AverageBros cheap movement, cheap and nasty bracelet, poor finishing, etc. It’s a crap brand that, like many, is using its history to sell modern junk.

I'd love to see you revisit these in a few months to see how you've liked them over time! Great video, beautiful watches.
Was hoping someone would do a review of the flieger pro on the bracelet… Thanks! 🙏🏾
The blue dial is such a banger!
Would like to see all your Laco watches together. Thanks
That's a nice blue. I like the big crowns on the Fliegers too.

Hopfully Laco will eventually bring out a green dial like the IWC MK XX. 🤞
Stunning watch! I wish the bezel was polished though :(
This is really great but they raised the prices quite a bit since they introduced the flieger pro with just the matte black dial.

I can't tell whether the luminova is white or yellowy/greeny. Here seems quite white but the photos on the site are very greeny

These are quick release for the bracelet?
It would be killer if there was bit of polish like a beveled edge
Wish they offer sw300 or 2892-a2.....
