I got veneers done professionally on 2 of my top teeth when I was 13 because of generically undersized teeth. I JUST this year had to get any restoration done on either of them and it was only because of trauma to my mouth. Im 30…. 6 repairs is CRAZY!
I got something akin to veneers like a decade ago for the same reason (two of my visible teeth were just tiny af) and I have not had to repair anything. Seeing the problems that some people go through gave me literal nightmares about mine breaking. That scammer deserves jail and to pay retribution to his victims.
I am not in the Atlanta area nor am I a dentist; however if anyone has been scammed by people like this, it’s best if you call a dental school and see if they offer free x-rays, cavity fillings, or free cleanings. From what I understand in Atlanta, there is a lot of schools that will offer this sort of service because they need to teach their own students. It’s definitely popular out here in California. Furthermore, please please please see your doctor. Not just your dentist but if you have one, your normal doctor. Cavities can lead to heart problems like endocarditis and other very serious heart problems
I have dentures. And my own horror story. The so-called 'dentist' who did the impressions, and later, the initial adjustments never went to dental school. Anywhere. My crappy insurance would only cover his 'dental office.' Later, I had to find a real dentist who could see me on an emergency basis because my lower gums and inside of my mouth got shredded. That's how bad my lower dentures didn't fit. I'm still a salt explosion. 😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
This really is infuriating. People would go to a place like that out of desperation. Either because of pain and in need of a filling or yes, vanity reasons. Your teeth are the first thing people see when they meet you. Teeth are extremely important and can literally change someone’s entire face. I do not knock anyone who would want to cosmetically fix their teeth. What’s even more sad is that people may have gone to this place in pain because they couldn’t afford to get a filling at a regular dental office. The health care system regarding dentistry is messed up. It is insanely expensive. My sister recently went to a dentist because I talked her into it.. she’s been having a lot of pain and hasn’t been to a dentist in many years due to not having dental insurance. This dentist literally said to fix all of her issues it was going to be just under $30,000. That is not right. No wonder so many people are going to Turkey to get dental care. Basically, what this man did is so evil. This is a huge issue that we are dealing with here in America. Dental services are extraordinarily expensive. This is so sad..
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for making such a point to say that people being scammed aren't the ones we should be ridiculing. Part of how scams are able to go on for so long is through shaming victims out of coming forward. The problem is only made worse by people blaming desperate people instead of punishing the people taking advantage of the vulnerable. I always appreciate your takes but ones like these are why I follow you. You have such a humane approach to the situation for the victims without sparing the scammers.
I feel this way about life coaches and other people providing “therapy” without the proper education and licensure. I’ve had far too many clients come to me with horror stories.
even then there are risks with that when they don’t have the proper equipment i.e led lamps to flash cure AND fully cure gel nail extensions because if not, there is high possibility of getting an infection and contracting contact dermatitis. there is a reason why professions like these have people going to school to obtain these licenses
@@delusion5867 even a nail tech requires training and certification. They usually have to take courses based around communicable conditions like fungus and proper sanitization.

I wish our people (I’m talking about black people and I’m a black woman) would invest in real education instead of scamming to make a quick hustle. As someone who's has braces for a veey long time, when I saw the "braces" pictured at around 9:38 in, my first thought was " those don't look like braces..." .
As someone who got their teeth ruined by certified dentists and experienced years of suffering because of their mistake that I couldn't prove because I was still just a child back then. I had to remove (yes I ended up doing it myself) the tooth THEY had damaged. I don't know exactly what happened but I think they nicked a nerve during treatment because I started having intense pains the same night they treated me. I was in so much pain I had to go to the emergency room and turned out my trigeminal nerve was inflamed. After that that same tooth kept getting infected, I had to have very expensive treatments done but it kept coming back. The tooth just died and started literally crumbling apart. After years, all that was left was the roots and no dentist rented to remove it they kept insisting on doing expensive treatments I couldn't afford. So one day after I woke up on the floor from passing out from the pain, I'd decided enough was enough. I took a pair of tweezers and started yanking at whatever was left. I didn't have the equipment or knowledge to do this safely so let's just say it was extremely painful and gruesome but the sense of relief I felt once it was finally out was the most amazing feeling ever. So yeah, be careful who you let do work in there. I could have died from sepsis so easily and nobody took me seriously. I wonder if I had been a man if they would have listened more (this happened mid 2000's to early 2010's).
Wow, that is a traumatic story, how aweful. The trigeminal nerve is a bitch, immense pain. I cannot imagine. I am only wondering why your dental stuff was not insurance covered while you were a child? Or are you a US American?
Also on the credential thing, most states, if not all, require licenses to be hung visibily in the practice. Even as an esthetician, mine is up and framed for all to see.
I had a root canal done in a perfectly sterile office by an incredibly competent dentist... and it still didn't heal correctly, and I ended up brewing an infection in my jaw that went unnoticed for years and almost killed me. It required a root canal specialist and a whole oral surgery years later, along with a metric fuck ton of antibiotics, to clear it up! What this dude was doing is absolutely despicable and I'm heartbroken for everyone who was taken in. I also just want to shout you out for how kindly you approached anyone who was a victim of these people... no one is immune to propaganda, and thus no one is too smart to fall for a scam or to end up in a cult. People who are good at scamming and manipulating are good at it for a reason: they both have skills AND are good at using people's vulnerabilities against them.
I got actually professional veneers in 2012 because my teeth got chipped when I was a child. In the last 12 years I’ve had exactly 0 repairs done, because they were done properly!
What's wild is how long it took authorities to shut it down. They said he's been doing this for YEARS. And he wasn't quiet about it. Regardless, I'm thrilled he was shut down. Smh you can't short cut medical care, ESPECIALLY dentistry. I hope his victims are ok.

To be honest, a lot of these backdoor dental and healthcare services exist because health care coverage is absurdly bad in America when you cannot afford it or get good insurance. Also, finding a dentist or orthodontic surgeon that takes it is hard too. I have dealt with this before i left the US.
Also In Atlanta especially downtown Atlanta they have very good clinics that offer dental care for people below X income line so these businesses are just awful
Even having insurance, it doesn't cover much, at least any of the insurances I've had in my 35 years of work. I did get my orthodontics & oral surgeries done, as an adult, from a school of dentistry at a medical college (U of M). In case anyone reads this & are unsure, they have licenced Drs, nurses & staff, they oversee the orthodontic part & the student Drs don't just start off working on patients, they have to have had so much "classroom" time before they work on patients. Usually jrs & srs are the ones that work on patients.
This is one of those videos I am not just looking at for entertainment value but vindication lol. Unfortunately no one ever thinks a person could have the audacity to do something like this on a daily basis. You never think your local dentist is the scammer. Also the scammer is more prepared to scam you than you are prepared to cast suspicion. Thank you so much, Isabella, for your curiosity and your bravery. This seems easy but it's not. I can't imagine the amount of backlash you get.
$3,500 for braces and $95 per filling is how much all the orthodontist i reached out to when finding a new one charged why are they going to him?!?! People don’t even do research no more just dumb
I know it sucks to be on Medicaid, but please please please, look into it if you’re eligible you can get dental benefits from the state and I think it’s national. Of course you’re not getting veneers on state assistance but if you’re having issues with your teeth and you’re low income DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE MONEY!!! A good dentist will work with you on any payments you might need to make & read EVERYTHING about the plans you can get.
These types of people disgust me. At least scam someone with useless bags or random items but to put them in danger and feed off of weakness and insecurities. So many peopl go through years of turmoil due to their dental issues. It's almost impossible to feel confident with out having nice teeth. I have health issues and lostta lot of teeth. Its been a long journey for me and I'm so grateful I found a good dentist that cares and I have my husband that has helped me to fix my issues. I'm hoping to be done with it all next year so I can finally eat normally again and not stress about causing more damage. I have had nearly every tooth worked on and once Im completely done I get partials because im not even able to have permanent replacements due to my bones. I wish eveyone with dental problems could get the help they need and stop being judged! As if people just ask for bad teeth its not always their own doing.
Wow! I completely understand that medical and dental care is expensive. However, he is charging $3500 for braces! I just got my daughter braces from a reputable Orthodontist and it only costs $5000. Not cheap but also not much more than the scammers are charging.
Something that I think gets glossed over in the conversation about even professional veneers is the fact that they are a lifetime commitment! They are a permanent modification to your teeth, but the veneers themselves are not lifetime hardware. They last usually 10 years, 15-20 years with very good care. Black market veneers are not lasting 10-15 years y’all. Getting veneers is signing yourself up to pay market value per tooth every 10 years for the remainder of your life. For real veneers that’s currently about $2000 a tooth. A few years ago.. it was $1000 a tooth. 😬
what needs to happen is a mass ban on easy access to supplies like this on Temu and Amazon. thats the biggest problem is anyone can buy stuff for dirt cheap and say theyre an expert. this goes for other fields as well like filler stuff.

Works out in Vegas because of loopholes and stuff…guess who got him trained?? Brandon Dillard. So he has done this in states where he can circumvent certain laws by using certain language. I hope that everyone who has been hurt by this fraud get the justice they deserve. Dillard is looking at a whole lot more felony charges so the ppl that were trained by him, or others…go and get your well deserved justice..stop doing veneers and press charges.
12:15 yes! from someone who had to have many years of dental work, colleges are a great way to get your teeth fixed & cleaned for free. the worse your teeth are, the more likely you are to be a candidate (in my experience)
It’s disheartening that he escalated so much to doing fillings etc not just because of the damage he’s done but also because now I assume he was taken down because of the escalation and not just the veneers. So many scammers are doing the veneers now and it’s all illegal but now it almost doesn’t look so bad cause of what this crazy did! Edit to clarify, not just the people who got scammed with the classes but others who are also teaching others and those who don’t quit when they find out it’s illegal.
I got this information about if you were injured by an individual practicing medicine without a license: “Anyone harmed by a person practicing medicine without a license may sue for damages in civil court. Again, laws vary by state, but as a general proposition, a person practicing medicine without a license will be liable for just about any foreseeable injury that results from the misconduct.” Obviously time is of the essence (there’s still evidence that dental work can lead to sudden endocarditis even though that’s somewhat of a dated paradigm). Just my thoughts: get checked out asap, get implants taken out. *Save* all proof of the follow up treatment for future litigation.
You should also check your states professional license website or directory. You should be able to search by their names and supposed credentials to not only see if they have those credentials but also if they are in good standing with the state

I got veneers done by a dentist 20 years ago. I’ve never had to have anything “fixed” and they still look wonderful today.
I'm dumbfounded by the audacity of this man to pretend he's a dentist. Does he not understand that a dentist is a doctor? You can't walk around and call yourself a healthcare technician. Wtf.
He knew exactly what he was doing. There's a girl who took his course and got in trouble she airs him out shows Dms and everything. He's a slime bag he knew it was totally illegal. He was telling people to hurry up and get their bag and bounce before they get in trouble
Same
The title “ health care technician” sounds pathetic 😂😂😂I hope to God ppl stop adding tech to fake ass jobs 😅
@antisocialsocialite5046 yep, I saw that video. She aired them out on NBC news.
She got sued by the board of dentistry.
He isn't listening to his own advice though as he is still carrying on doing what he isn't supposed to smdh.
@@camvin575 omg I know! And i saw a video saying they had arrested him but now ppl are telling me that was a different guy I guess the vid I saw got it wrong I'm like 😭 don't understand why they can't get him he's the most high profile careless one of them all!
Lord...those veneers look like press-on nails glued to their teeth
I thought the same thing, they look like white tips.....no wonder they say it's like being a nail tech.
knowing the lifetime of pain that these victims are going to be in, literally breaks my heart in two. I don’t care if they should’ve known - he should’ve been a real dentist. i hope they fully get justice.
thanks for speaking on this.
@@Slangert-1 not all fillings are done under anaesthesia
Oh wow never knew that about cavities, thank you.
You summed up my thoughts well. I feel so bad for the people who did this and now will need more dental work to fix this and the previous concerns :/
Omg seriously? How what have they done for them to be horror stories?
Honestly, I don't understand why people don't go for safer AND LEGAL hustles like being a nail tech????
👆💯🫣😷😆
even then there are
risks with that when they don’t have the proper equipment i.e led lamps to flash cure AND fully cure gel nail extensions because if not, there is high possibility of getting an infection and contracting contact dermatitis. there is a reason why professions like these have people going to school to obtain these licenses
@@delusion5867 even a nail tech requires training and certification. They usually have to take courses based around communicable conditions like fungus and proper sanitization.
Anyone who lives in CA and is genuinely low income you can get medi cal. Ive had extensive dental work done and they paid every penny of it. As long as its for health not for cosmetic they will cover it. And i cant even express how eternally grateful i am for that! 🙏
Oh they will in Kentucky too! They'll pay for my oral surgery and dentures.
But you can't find an oral surgeon that will take it. Can't even find a dentist that will take it.
They might take it for kids, but EFF THEM KIDS. Adults need dental care too
@@billbombshiggy9254 wow really? That's terrible I wonder why they must make less profit or something. I was so blessed Medi Cal sent me to an amazing oral surgeon he was so good and from his office I think he was an expensive doctor..my dentist as well she is amazing my denture came out beautifully..they even made them look as close as they could to my original smile because I had beautiful teeth before I messed them up with drugs. I was already a year sober but the teeth were a terrible reminder of my past. So having "my old smile" back was such a beautiful gift it really is priceless. And they covered it ALL..I have a lot of issues with my state but I'll never forget how blessed I was to have tens of thousands of dental work done for free! I'm now 3 years clean and no one can even tell I'm a former junkie unless I choose to tell them and there is freedom in that 💕
This breaks my heart because as a disabled person who really struggles with dental hygiene I could 100% see myself getting scammed by them. Thankfully I live in a country with a decent healthcare system but if I were in America I don’t know what I would do
I live in a country with decent healthcare, too but a lot of dental care procedures aren't even covered by a regular health insurance. I've thankfully seen fake medical professionals here getting busted but no matter how fast the police is, there's always victims before the scam gets noticed. Extremely scary.
I wish our people (I’m talking about black people and I’m a black woman) would invest in real education instead of scamming to make a quick hustle. If your willing to provide courses, show people how to do veneers, make patients feel comfortable then you damn well have TIME & ENERGY get a bachelors in dental hygiene and apply for med school doing all the clinicals and what not. Brandon really could have been a successful cosmetic dentist but he CHOSE to go the illegal route and throw his life away in prison.
My root canal was 500 bucks after insurance, no way any veneers should 500 bucks!
Medical services without insurance can actually be negotiated down to 75% off of original bill cost especially if it’s elective surgery you pay in advance on
@@ElinWinblad I doubt any insurance would cover this in any case or that "veneer techs" would negotiate down a bill
Where did you go?
Literally role playing a dentist, it’s insane. It kinda reminds me of when people dress up in army clothes when they aren’t in the army. Stolen valor?
It's stolen when ranks, units, etc. are used. There's a reason why only active duty personnel are allowed to buy uniforms. Even spouses can't buy them at least from what I remember. People are insane. I don't know why they want to impersonate a career or job. Little kids are different so I get that but adults just no.😂
Regular dentists don’t even do veneers.
@@Username0467they do if they specialize in cosmetic dentistry
America’s weird attitude towards providing dental care is playing out in some bizarre ways
I cannot believe he was offering fillings. I gasped with you when you read it.
Tooth infections can give you heart problems! If he’s filling cavities improperly he can literally kill people. This is horrific.
As someone who's has braces for a veey long time, when I saw the "braces" pictured at around 9:38 in, my first thought was " those don't look like braces..." .
your first "veneer tech" video is what made me subscribe im so glad this freak is finally being arrested !!!
Colleges and universities that have dental students often offer low cost dental services so that the students can practice under supervision.
He was doing fillings too…So that means he was also illegally injecting an anesthetic 😳💉
Not all fillings are done under anaesthesia
@agata2787 is still illegal to do invasive dental treatment without a license.
Scamming that is purely financial is bad enough, but health related scamming is genuinely sick
It probably took a while for the authorities to bring a case against him. I’m relieved he can’t do anymore harm.
The amount of people that believe they can perform dentistry in the matter of 2 days is crazy asf to me 😭 like there is no way you trust someone that much they ALL going downn
i thought the ad was an ad for the pajamas at first 😭 but seriously what brand are they? they look so comfortable
I have porcelain veneers, and you never have to get them whitened they literally don’t stain, that’s literally one of the benefits of getting them. Offering whitening is bonkers to me. I want to know what he used.
I love when you say the date of filming so I can remember “it’s normal for these videos to take more than a week” in case I want to ever make content 😅😊
"Ladies and gentlemen and gender nonconforming friends, we're at 25,000 feet and encountering abit of turbulence, but rest assured, I learned to fly using a cutting edge, two-day training kit from some loser on Tiktok, so consider this crisis MASTERED."
To be honest, a lot of these backdoor dental and healthcare services exist because health care coverage is absurdly bad in America when you cannot afford it or get good insurance. Also, finding a dentist or orthodontic surgeon that takes it is hard too. I have dealt with this before i left the US.
It feels illegal being this early! Omg I’ve been loving your videos so much I’m so happy I found your channel bestie 🩷
Your original veneer tech video is how I found your channel, so this is a very exciting upload for me lol
Just a reminder: All dentists are board certified!!! Look up anyone you want to get work from as a true legitimacy check!
If it was drugs, he would’ve been raided in two seconds. The authorities should be blamed for taking too long.
Wow! I completely understand that medical and dental care is expensive.
However, he is charging $3500 for braces! I just got my daughter braces from a reputable Orthodontist and it only costs $5000. Not cheap but also not much more than the scammers are charging.
It is so scary that businesses like this exist. I am so glad that he got arrested! Filings?!?! Holy crap!!!
a lot of dental offices have payment plans. and if you're low income, you can get medicaid and in california medi-cal if you're not elderly.
I love watching you while doing my homework, posted at the perfect time! ❤️
Awwww thank you! Good luck bestie!!! You’ve got this
Veneers look like tic-tacs to me 😂 not all tic traces are the same but they are all square and white
The first one you thought was bad cavities is actually silver fillings. They did these fillings all the time. I had all of mine replaced.
It's DISGUSTING that our government so inefficient that it took years to charge him.

i love you idk if youll see this but i js want to say ur upload made my day 😭😭😭
what needs to happen is a mass ban on easy access to supplies like this on Temu and Amazon. thats the biggest problem is anyone can buy stuff for dirt cheap and say theyre an expert. this goes for other fields as well like filler stuff.
the way dentists who went to school for yearsss have messed up on my teeth i literally cant imagine this so scary
So sad 😭 Dental issues can literally ruin your life. I hope the victims get restitution and that they don’t experience life altering damage.

Girl tonight feels like Christmas! I swear I just commented on your last video asking for veneer techs videos and here you are ❤❤❤
This issue is a unique culmination of the poor education crisis + unaffordable healthcare crisis in America. Very sad and very dystopian.
I just got an ad for some weird scammy affiliate marketing thing midway though this video and I thought it was an actual clip from the video since I was listening while working 😂
The veneers don’t even look good. They look like piano keys like Bella said.
People are defending him in some comments on some “but he did good work nobody died what did he do wrong” yall need to read law books
Y’all know about dental implants and how expensive they are. Well someone contacted me(a friend of a friend that knows about my illness) and offered me an amazing price for dental implants. Reg are around $30 grand this person offered it to me for less then $10 grand. Sweet deal, everything sounded amazing, but through some digging and research before agreeing to pay for a consultation…I found out that this person isn’t a Dentist, has nothing to his name in certs…scammer.

I got this information about if you were injured by an individual practicing medicine without a license:
“Anyone harmed by a person practicing medicine without a license may sue for damages in civil court. Again, laws vary by state, but as a general proposition, a person practicing medicine without a license will be liable for just about any foreseeable injury that results from the misconduct.”
Obviously time is of the essence (there’s still evidence that dental work can lead to sudden endocarditis even though that’s somewhat of a dated paradigm).
Just my thoughts: get checked out asap, get implants taken out. *Save* all proof of the follow up treatment for future litigation.
You should also check your states professional license website or directory. You should be able to search by their names and supposed credentials to not only see if they have those credentials but also if they are in good standing with the state
Most of the "before" teeth were fine!! Beautiful natural smiles! AND WHERE DID THAT DUMBASS PRACTICE FILLING AND BRACES?? I mean i have so much anxiety over my teeth that even the thought of someone, who doesnt have a proper education and lisence on dentistry, touching my teeth-- 😭😭 i'm so sorry for ppl who were tricked to go there
"Hello, your f**kin* brain's up here!" 😄
Thank goodness! And thanks for covering this. So glad to hear consequences are coming down

The way the veneers are lifted off of the gums…
If you or someone you know needs affordable dental care, PLEASE go to a nearby dental hygiene school or nearby dental school! There’s one at most colleges!
why do i have a feeling he went to dentist school (or whatever it's called) but just didnt finish? it looks like he knows a lot so i kind of get the feeling, he has had some sort of formal learning but just decided to run with it and cause a mess
For that amount of money, might as well go to a real dentist or orthodontist.
Youre my new favorite youtuber! Howdy from Nebraska!
I had a licensed, professional dentist drill through my tooth and require me to get that tooth removed and a root canal and then a crown. This was two years ago, and now I have so much anxiety going to the dentist that they have to sedate me for a normal cleaning. If a dentist who went to school for years can do this to me, there is NO WAY IN HELL some butthead who took a two day course is touching my teeth.
Tf is going on in ATL that this man could even become the go-to guy? And how do people not see these teeth as incredibly tacky?? I knew a 20 yr old young lady that went to Turkey for a bbl and veneers and when she came back she had blue tinted chicklet teeth and bbl looked like squidward when he ate all them crabby patties 🤦🏾♀️
ASK DENTAL STUDENTS! They are DDS in training and in their upper years need to learn practical application of procedures under supervision. It is much cheaper. You can do the same for cleanings and go get one from dental hygiene students
