Your behind the scenes videos are so valuable to get to know the riders better. Bernd and Kai are just two guys, I'm glad to realize, I've had a completely wrong impression of. They are super likeable and not at all stuck up and snooty as I thought 😃
I talked to Robby Naish about that day at Pipeline. It was the day before a bodyboard competition and so the surfers were cleared out. It was also Kona winds, instead of the usual trades, so the waves were standing up well. Ridiculous skills needed to sail that.
Props to Kai for being so generous with his time. Thanks for making this for us!
For dedicated wave riders you sure are onto the right path
You will soon delight a lot of people with your designs , shapes, ideas
So interesting ! The return of the no nose board ! Love your series on Maui ! Great stuff ! Thank you Paul !
Super awesome seeing what the story is with Kai's board there.....very interesting!! Living the dream PVB!!

Glad you are enjoying the trip and getting to know the riders.
Kai’s definitely a stand up dude. Great content 🤙
Basically a surfboard with a sail 🙌
Super interesting! Thanks Paul!
Stay in Maui and continue providing such content 😅
The old Tiga wave 254 with the big footpad had his wide point further back. Some of my friends loved that back in the day.
Great video Paul. Thanks for the knowledge Kai.

Wow, that's really interesting!
Living in the desert it's nice to see some manicured greens ..legend 💯
Thank you, Paul!
This is my dream home on the North Shore 🤩
Niiiiice... I want to try it!
I can imagine the compatibility! A combination of pointed design and fin design. I use Japanese google translate
Okay, okay... OKAY, I understand.
God create women, kinder bueno, bigmac and Paul van Bellen.
Great content as always! Do we know how long the fins are?
Sorry not sure!!
Kais board looks narrow thin and low volume. His understanding of board relationship with water is probably unmatched!
Is this board the beginning of a return to the chameleon boards of old ?!!
!!
