Man that is a really beautiful set Orlando. I love that set and those cards look fantastic in the SGC slab! I think the West, Frazier and Baylor cards should have all graded a bit higher.
Thanks for your support, I am a fan of the 70’ Basketball set. Love that they are so colorful and tall boys. The Wilt graded well, was hoping the others would also.
Thanks Ken, for your support and kind comments. The 70-71 basketball tall boys cards I have are really sharp cards because I got them from the original owner. Very clean cards just some are off center. Appreciate your comments
About to consider sending a bunch of my Basketball highlights into SGC during their 12 dollar special. This would break my streak, of never sending anything in for grading… it’s a conundrum
@@ACollectorsDream Hey O ! I only have my childhood cards from the 70's. I don't buy cards or send them for Grading. Nobody is touching my cards. I must say they do look good in those black slabs ! Talk to ya later, Tom
Thanks Larry, so good to hear about your awesome set. Mine was ungraded but had some sent to SGC. The top cards are the Maravich, mid grade about $500, also the Alcindor and Wilt also valuable, less than Pete. Thanks again for your support
@@ACollectorsDream I know what they’re worth. Question is would you like to purchase some out of the stack I have after grading? My Lew Alcindor cards are more than $500 or $600 each at least
@@larrystevens1979 thanks Larry for the offer, I’m not interested in them at this time. Focusing more on prewar cards currently. Appreciate you offering, thanks again
I just cringe everytime I see one of these videos. I had so many of these cards at one time. I collected baseball and basketball cards during the 60's and 70's and just gave them away when I went to high school. Just makes me sick to my stomach, literally.

I really thought some would’ve graded higher,
I have several cards in great condition from the 70 set including 2 Lew Alcindor 2nd year and Jerry west
Orlando, regardless of the assigned grades, your set is so clean and just gorgeous! 😊
Thanks Adam, yes I agree with you. All the cards are super clean like new
It is a screaming set
Very very nice set you have there! 1970 is such a fun and awesome set, impressive Wilt!

I have that card as well as a 69-70 Jerry west and Pat Riley rookie card. Lmk if you’re interested
Nice reveal, Orlando, love this set, so many superstars, and such great images! Thanks for sharing, congrats on the Pete RC, and have a great weekend.

Congrats on the return Orlando!
Some great cards there. I think I'm going to put together this set!
Thanks Jake, this is a great colorful set and inexpensive right now. Undervalued in my opinion. These tall boys are so nice
Great Stuff Orlando! This is a set I'm slowly building as I have the Alcindor. Appreciate you sharing.
Nice that you’re working on the set. Good luck
Happy holidays my friend
Merry Christmas to you and your family
Beautiful set, my friend.
Thanks Ozzie my friend
Your cards really look good regardless of the centering. Wow! The colors are splendid. I wish the few I have looked that good.

Orlando nice reveal! I wish the grades were higher for you, they were very tough on the centering. I wish you luck on selling the set!!! 🤙🏻
These cards were very clean and some should have been graded higher but a nice set.
i love vintage cards. just art.
They are Art to me also. Appreciate your support and comments
Love that set! You got some nice grades for tall boys.
The tall boys basketball are tough to grade and I feel most graded pretty good
Those are great looking cards. I never bought any of those old tall basketball cards but I definitely intend to do so at some point.
Thanks Victor, love the colorful tall boy cards. Many HOF’ers are in the set, check it out
Beautiful set!. Love the tall boys. SGC is usually right on but yours looked as you had a tough grader.
Yes Larry I got a tough grader some look better than the grade
They may be off center, but they are VERY NICE clean and bright cards.
Cards are super clean probably should have graded better
About to consider sending a bunch of my Basketball highlights into SGC during their 12 dollar special.

I had the same problem, ended up grading a few.
Sweet cards and reveal
Thanks so much for watching
Nice cards Orlando, do the tall boys cost more to grade than standard size?
Thanks for your comment. SGC charges the same for the tall boys than regular cards.
Hey O ! That was cool seeing the end results. Those (OC) cards seemed to get pretty good grades. Gives me an idea what my Pete might grade. Peace
Thanks again for watching. Let me know how your Maravich grades

@@SouvenirProgramsHere agreed, my cards are mostly raw from my original collection but wanted to get these tall boys slabbed they can easily damage
As a vintage card collector, I love your videos! Your 1970-71 cards are beautiful. Hard to figure why the 4 on the Baylor card?
Thanks for your input my friend. I still don’t know why the Baylor got a 4. Appreciate your support. Merry Christmas to you and your family
I have a lot of these cards in immaculate shape. I have to have them graded. What was the top cards worth?

Sgc was the way to go with vintage 4 sure that Lewis was so clean if just had a 60/40 that would have got 7or8 over all beautiful set
Thanks Ben, I got a tough grader on these.

These were very difficult to store at the time. I’m lucky my basketball cards were in good condition. Thanks for watching my videos
