I need a chassis so bad 😂. Thanks for coming and hanging out! Great information for sure
Definitely need a chassis. Love seeing you two work together. I saw that intro and I was like "damn, that whole thang is movin'".
@@mvpittmanyeah it’s always a good time driving together 💪🏾. But for sure it’s on the list
I love these pedals. So much more consistent all round. From trail braking to slip angle, the control is there. And I love that you can adjust everything about them, like travel and also they include SPRINGS!!!!!
Springs are love springs are life 😂
I got these with the gas shocks. They work well. I did remove the gas shocks though. I found the shocks added extra force and that force wasn't transferred to the sensor, so they actually interfered with the accuracy instead of enhancing it. The shocks felt good, but any change in gas force caused a change in the sensor force while you maintained the same force on the pedal. The whole idea of load cell pedals is so you can maintain a constant force on the load cell no matter where the pedal is, so anything that is not connected to the load cell interferes with that. The gas shocks aren't connected to the load cell.
I like having the springs for adjustments in the brakes. I prefer them to elastomers.
I do like the automatic calibration in the software, but I wish the settings could be manually adjusted to make slight modifications.
I have had these pedals for a few weeks now. I've super happy with them.
There are a few minor issues but it's so modular that you can fix / adjust almost everything!
Once you dial them in to suit, they feel great.
Definetly worth the cost.
Yeah I would agree my buddies driving has def gotten better as well so anyone asking about them I say go get them!
What minor issues and what fixes to them? I have a set arriving soon.
@@Ep1o However they are assembled when shipped, I recommend you put one of the metal springs between two of the elastomers on the brake with the stock spring at the bottom, it really allows for precision let off and trail braking.
@@Ep1o just play around with the springs and elastomers to get them feeling the way you like.
also use the R9 and now I am ordering these pedals! Keep racing man, great videos.
Thanks for watching!!
Helpful video, thanks. These are currently $70 off on Amazon so I grabbed the 2 pedal hydraulic set - $170 total. Seems like this quality pedal for its regular price is great so for $170 it’s crazy. My SR-Ps were close to that price with tax and shipping. Thanks for the setup info.
Thanks for checking out the video!
You mentioned that you will try out Simjack Pro to compare against these. I hope you will review the newly released SImjack Ultimate instead. No reviews of these new pedals out there yet.
If I get a chance I totally will I would love to see how they stack up!
These are awesome. Got mine for $200. on amazon. Set of 3, no plate or gas springs.
Great deal! Hope you are enjoying them!
Haha, I have these same pedals and love them. At 14:25 you are mashing the hell out of the elastomers. Take that green spring and put it between the two black elastomers and put the stock spring back on the bottom and give that a try.
I’ll tell my buddy about it his pedal plate flexes a bit as you can see in the video so we have to try to address that as well
@@jtgracing1 He's too strong to have that current set up going, he needs some travel in the brakes to finesse the let off.
These can also be used with your preferred calibration software for the record, since you guys mentioned the software was the weak point. So simsonn kept that open for people who really like to tweak and mess with the software.
what really ?!
Wait what ! Thats wild! So what software do you use?
@@jtgracing1 Freejoy and Dxtweak2 are popular options. Heusinkveld's Diview works as well iirc. But yeah, I rather use those since they're much better.
@@jtgracing1 Freejoy and Heusinkveld's DIView are both very solid options that are far better than simsonn's own app, AND they're opensource. Check them out. Make sure you make a backup of the original firmware of the pedals before changing anything tho!
RUclips keeps deleting my comments for whatever reason, so I'm going to try a 3rd time. I use Freejoy to calibrate mine. It's much better than the simsonn app. Give it a shot, but make sure you backup the original firmware before making any changes! There's a good tutorial that shows how it works. Solid review bro.
A tip put a piece of wood beneath your pedal holder to make it a little bit more stable when you push the brake
Yeah that pedal flex I feel was messing with the braking for me a bit , but my buddy is looking at getting a new chassis here soon!
That CTSV V8 goes hard!
Super loud!
I think that pedal plate needs upgrading 😅. That flex 😬
Yeah he’s looking into getting a new rig here soon hopefully
I'm aiming for simubox pedals but that's exactly same pedals like this but black
If they are anything like this then they are a great buy!
should i buy the clutch? I barely use it, only when chilling in AC or something
I’d say buy the clutch just in case you ever wanna do drifting or anything!
Hey. What wheel rim are you using in this video?
That is going to be a turn racing wheel!
don't use the elastomer, just use all the spring provided for the brake .
Let me know what pedals you guys are driving on!!!!
I'm using the Fanatec CSL that I got second-hand. But, I have Sim-Lab GT1-Pro, so I snagged a Sim-Lab XP-1 set for the upgrade. Need to try the CSLs for a bit to see what I'm actually upgrading for though. Also need to have a set to review add-ons, right?
So it comes with the software?
Yes it has a download for it
Everybody needs a pair of racing crocs😂
I think I’m gonna get the lightning mqueen ones next so I can gain at least 0.10
Get cheap water shoes. Many use them for sim race.
@@snippidippi i vote lighting McQueen, he hit the nostalgia of what got me into motorsports. and its funnier
