It's an absolute disgrace what EA did to that company and also made it to where if you had purchased the game via digital download or access it through playstation pass or anything else except for a hard copy that was downloaded before he about it the game is absolutely unplayable you cannot access it anyway at all it's so stupid that they sit there and take away the best race simulator on console all over a petty little personal dispute between 2 company owners
Yeah EA strikes again unfortunately let’s add it to the list of games they’ve ruined

I just got a box with my pedels and my first thought was, Damn this box is heavy, it's over 20lbs. My cockpit is still in route and I'll come back once I'm all set up. I got the set with the plate for mounting plus the charged cylinders which are supposed to help. I'll be racing 🏎️🏎️🏎️ soon

Just stumbled across your channel. Very nice set up. I went from a TX to Simucube Pro. Buy once, cry once. Not clowning, but elastomer is correct. That's why they sell elastomer kits with different stiffness elastomers. An Elastometer measures elasticity much like a speedometer measures speed. To make life confusing it's not even used to measure the stiffness of an elastomer. To measure the stiffness of an elastomer a Durometer is used. This device pokes the material and measures the resistance to indenting. For sim racing elastomers use the shore A scale. I've seen them range from 20 soft to 90 hard. (0 to 100 scale)

Yeah I dont know why that word always gets me but maybe next time someone says something about it i'll bless them with that knowledge you put down for me so at least they think I know what im talking about lol. Does the same mechanics work when the elastomer is a spring? Or does it work in conjunction with the load cell differently.
Funny how this game had most of its tracks laser scanned and the game the EA thinks is good which is supposed to represent pinacle of motorsports still dosent have laser scanned tracks.

Hey those pedals are the business! To be honest I love these pedals but for some reason the VRS pedals I had prior held a special place in my heart lol I miss them a bit idk why!
Congrats on hitting 200, 1,000 is right around the corner! Keep at it. The YT grind is just like racing, keep a good pace and it'll all work out.

Great video. Lots of useful information. May I ask what angle your monitors are set and how you measured said angle?
I believe that they are around 133 degrees and I used an angle finder for the hardware store I think it cost me like 3 dollars. I believe if you have an iPhone they might have one as well although I dont know how reliable it is.
I have many of the same components. Gsi fp v2 blackout. And simucube pedals. The active brake is r a game changer I don’t have a Button box yet but with such a small cost I might as well pick one up.
Definitely see about the stream deck I think it’s a huge bang for buck! Let me know what you think about whatever button box you pickup! Thanks hanks for watching the video!

Great video with a load of well points, I’m looking at switching from a 49” G9 to triples for the same reasons. The StreamDeck was also a game changer for me to, takes a bit of time to set up but totally worth it, I just wish the buttons where a touch bigger

I replaced my GSI FPE v1 with a GT Neo & I have no regrets!
It really is a fantastic wheel! I love my GSI but the neo holds a special place in my heart for sure!
Of course cheaper Active Pedals were announced yesterday. Are yours mounted flat or is back is higher than the front? I’m having a hard time with the throttle being in a comfortable position where my heel doesn’t come up. I think by tilting it, it has helped. What’s your experience?
Yeah I did not think thats what they were going to unveil but at least the ones we have got upgraded to the ultimate I guess! Mine are mounted flat but the pedal plate I have is angled so the back is a bit higher than the front. I initially had a hard time with the throttle matching it up to the active but eventually with enough playing around with it I got it to a comfortable position. I dont know how the guys who invert this thing do it, that itself is wild. Let me know how you like yours and thanks for checking out the video!

One suggestion and one little bit of feedback on the video. Might be worth checking out Dan Suzukis video on his “wireless quick release”. It uses the NRG style quick release but powers the wheel too which makes swapping wheels super easy, as you don’t have to deal with any cables. It’s not very expensive either. Also don’t know if you noticed but the audio and video got out of sync toward the end of the video. Just something to watch out for.
I want to definitely do it for both my wheels I just need to watch the tutorial. Another one of the guys I watch use it on all his wheels and it’s for sure my next buy. Also thank you for the feedback I only get better by you guys letting me know and posting more!

It took me about five hours to get mine setup correctly. Next time I upgrade my monitors I'm going to buy the adjustable mounts.
@@dauntae24 I regret not getting the adjustable mounts it took me a while as well! But totally worth the pain and time IMO! I went integrated mounts, next time I move I think I will purchase free standing as well.

@@jtgracing1 Go with other transducers like Dayton audio with Simhub. Much more bang for your buck. Also the Simagic HPR on the Throttle really complements the Active Pedal.

For me yes . I love the feedback the pedal gives you it even gives you lock up and motor rumble as well but even if you don’t wanna use the haptics being able to tune on the fly and not have to unbolt anything or download other profiles and be able to share is super game changer for me!

@jtgracing1 Honestly it's nice. Turn opposite lock on and the throttle/brake and steering sensitivity pretty much all the way down + a couple tweaks oj the car and it works ok
See this is how a brake should travel. You have so so much control over every single position and its the best trail braking experience. Tired of brick walls we don't have g forces so we don't get energy passing through making formula style brakes easier to push. Formula brakes aren't stiff just to be stiff its also because of the force transffering through them. I will never ever understand formal style brakes in a sim rig.
I don’t like a suuper stiff brake at all after playing a couple sessions it’s rough lol I think the simucube pedal has the g forces effect as well to simulate you braking and the body moving forward but I haven’t tested just yet

It’s just a surprise. Like meta is one thing but in motorsports especially with BOP it shouldn’t be that way. Though I think the R8 would struggle with its huge rear wing and so much of the track being WOT
