FYI for anyone thinking about doing this job, it's not easy as the video depicts, they have metrics you need to meet or you'll get warnings and eventually the area managers will start asking you what's wrong?. My facility wanted 80 items per hour, then increased to 120 items within two years of working there. Also if you don't like putting on a snow suit and going into the freezer room for an hour or two I suggest you look somewhere else. Although again, not all warehouses have walk-in freezers. Another thing, your hours aren't guaranteed if you are flex, you can go weeks with no shifts and have weeks with shifts, it is entirely random.
Hi, what do you do if an item is out of stock? Can you just offer a replacement or do you have to ask if it’s in stock first? I used to work for Amazon as a shopper in Wholefoods and they used to have us ask whoever is in that department if the item was in stock and if it wasn’t we had to scan their QR code..I hated doing that! It wasn’t like that at first..we only had to choose out of stock and offer a replacement but then it was changed..also, are they strict on metrics? I hated that as well! They would tell us it wasn’t a problem but constantly hound you about your pick rate. That didn’t happen until we switched over to Wholefoods employees though once Amazon made the split…
120 items in an hour for a new hire is pretty hard :c and then they start to give you warnings for being too slow xD It's my first week and i already want to quit :c
Hello. I currently work at a delivery station in another state and I'm moving and thinking about requesting a transfer to a grocery store. Is the job just shopping?
@@TheOneWingedAngel How do I find this position to apply? I'm in a major city where they have Amazon fresh but can't find it on indeed or Amazon's website. All I see is the regular amazon warehouse positions and Amazon fresh store associate
At this location it was strictly a warehouse so no customers idk how it is at other warehouse but I don’t think when you’re in the warehouse you don’t work with customers
hell nahh idk if u working there rn but that shit go slow aff i used to work in the main warehouse packing and i hated that shit rn im going into grovery and im abt to just thug it out

Great video! What do the shift times usually look like
Well since this warehouse is 24/7
Shifts range all night and day
@@TheOneWingedAngel yeah so the time is never the same? I see you chose the 2pm to 6pm shift

I start on Tuesday 1-6 / 3 days a week but I see you can pick up other schedules is it possible to work more than the 19 hours a week?

How did you record this? Also did they not tell you anything about your camera? I’m going to start in May
thank you for the upload , and one question do you have to wear steel toe?
I’m not sure if it’s mandatory but they do offer to buy you non slip work shoes from Zappos
@@TheOneWingedAngel thank you!🙏
Thank for the amazing video!❤ I have one question though, do you get vet or are your hours capped as a flex worker?
I’m not sure if hours are capped but as for vet , I believe so
what are the available shifts hours? from the time they open and close?
Hello. I currently work at a delivery station in another state and I'm moving and thinking about requesting a transfer to a grocery store. Is the job just shopping?
Do you have to give up any biometrics to work here such as clocking in with fingerprint, eye/face scan, etc?
No, I clock in with a badge only.

Amazon doesn’t pay good for Grocery associates. Fulfillment and sortation warehouse associates get paid more
I get 18.25 in NY

No. Only part-time.
