- In this film I get my hands on the fastest 911 ever...the mighty 911 Turbo S. This 580 bhp monster accelerates like nothing I've ever driven. Plant your right foot and it distorts your view of the world as it throws you at the horizon. It does 0 - 100 mph faster than most hot hatches do 0 - 60 and is a fully fledged member of the 200 mph Club.
I was lucky enough to drive it on track as well as on the road so can give you my views on the supercar you can live with every day.

I've ordered one. Arrives in about 6 weeks, in a rare Iris Blue colour from 1980s.... high spec, and it'll be so cool...

Delivered one from London to Switzerland. Then took it to S France. Incredible car. Pure driving class.

They are mind blowingly fast and so practical at the same time. A very impressive car :-)
I pick a 2017 up tomorrow @ noon. White with Bordeaux interior and Burmester sound. Not many more options really (it was a dealership manager's car for 10k miles) but I am not complaining. :) Had to do it, everything about it is amazing.

Hey have enjoyed a few of your reviews now and your enthusiasm and honesty are refreshing compared to some other vlogs. Did'nt feel you did the car justice in this review and was hoping to get a better feeling for exhaust sound and ferocity as you used the PDK. Perhaps a camera mounted close to exhaust pipes and some aerial shots with a drone would have been brilliant. Still a big fan of both the channel and your style of reviewing so keep up the good work.
Hi there. This was filmed on a media day and I only had 1 hour with the car. Sadly not long enough for aerial and drive by shots. Also it was the last drive of the day and I struggled with having enough batteries left to get the film done. Poor excuses I know but it was the best I could do 😥

Well done again another fab review, I had a couple of 911's in the late 80's early 90's loved the looks but hated the way they drove so as they haven't changed a great deal in style I have not really taken much notice of them. But boy has your review opened my eyes that is one hell of a car! Keep up the excellent work!

Tough one. Close call between the PDK gear box and the sheer speed. This thing is like a missile ! So if I had to choose one it would be it performance.
You may want to modify your written intro. You wrote 'It does 0 - 100 mph faster than most hot hatches.. 'I welcomed you to the world of 911s a few months ago and I think you're seeing the attraction...

Great video, again. So....911 Turbo S or Mclaren 650S? Mclaren for me as it has the looks and drama of a supercar.

Enjoyable video. Wonderful car in a glorious colour. B U T... at the stated price of 150k nicker, those blanks on the centre console would really tick me off. At this level everything should be included. Sooner this car gets the new Panamera console the better.
The new Cayenne is getting the Panamera interior, it's only a matter of time until the 911 gets it :-)

Yes. Centre lock wheels are standard on the Turbo S.

What's up with the cuts away from you talking, just to see another angle of you sitting in the car, mouth not moving, while the audio is still talking?
Just trying to add a little variety. Some times I don't have multiple camera running so there is a lack of lipsync.
Petrol Ped the cuts away are fine, just as long as we can't see your mouth. Exterior shot, back of your head, whatever. Keep up the good work, it was really great to watch your reviews.

@ petro ped: how do you compare the 991 turbo to the 997 turbo? you didn´t say it in the video :P
The 997 was a capable car. Very fast and for the money as a used car was a bargain. For me I didn't like its Tiptronic box though. The 991 is better in every department but the PDK makes it such a better car to drive and if possible it's even faster. The downside is you need £148k to buy one which makes the £60k for the used one I drove a bargain !

ok. cool. and do you have the possibility to drive the 997 turbo s? i would love it if you could compare the 997 gen.2 with the 991 turbo : )

Exhaust sounded a bit muffled. needs a bit more grut!
The mic didn't pick it up very well Ian. It sounded miles better that the 997 Turbo I drove but not a patch on the R8 V10 Plus.
Should I sell my 2017 R8 for one?
First world problem. I've drive both and they are impressive cars. Maybe the Porsche is more usable everyday 🤔
@@PetrolPed lots of hard work, determination, blood, sweat and tears! First world problems would be daddy buying it for me! But agreed, I am fortunate to be able to afford one.
