yup , agree, barrel flex, which bends the sights in the same direction as the barrel. with a barrel that short, short distances are the 'use-case-scenario'. But attaching it to the lower sling loop or ANYTHING on the barrel with a fixed FSB technically does the same thing by design, so, the FSB setup/2 end handguard setup is a no win scenario. ( if you can guess, i got the item purely for the kitch/retro/camp/uncharted-territory-tech-1960s interest ) also jungle warfare training doctrine is the sling is not used on patrol, only on march

Terrible idea atraching that sling mount to yout front sight. Do t do that.
