I know the feeling... haha. My parents dragged me to the weirdest places too, when i was that age... Back then, i really didnt pay much attention to the shear beauty and pureness of those places, and found it boring... Well, when i look back at those times i'd smack my head now... Looking back to it, makes me craving to visit those places again, and look at them in a whole other way. The right way...
Always love these vids from Iceland...of course none of the vids will ever be done at the now extinct Rockville AFSite...if the 40 mph wind didn't get you...the smell of the nearby fish racks would have.....I was there for a year in 1972-1973.
it's something about this sigur ross.....i do'nt know... hits you right inthe soul. congrats from romania.... it's been a long time... since i had this feelin' about eanything... guess there's mote than ashes coming from iceland.. ha? :) beatutiful.
It's a reed organ, also known as a pump organ. That model in specific is a portable type, probably made by the company Estey. They're beautiful instruments.. Google search "Estey travelling organ" for more info.
lucky the people that lived it, i really want to see them live, i didnt think I'd like them acousticly, i was wrong i like them alot....and yes this song brings me down, but it's also my favoite!!!
@cronojdbass I actually got an account on an Icelandic website for a while after first listening to Sigur Ros. I got exactly the same feeling. I wanted to go this magical place where this music came from.
Can anyone tell me what instrument that little foot organ deal is? I have found some on the internet but not a small one like is played here. What a wonderful song!
i cried (i never cry) (ever) (well ok i cried another time when i missed loreena mckennitt in concert) other than that though im a cold calloased bastard
Lol the camera guy has the worst timing to decide a different angle would be better. Even get some heavy breathing at the end. Apart from that, this is a very magical moment in time, Sigur at their best imo.
i want to go to iceland maaannnn i can beleive how much time i have wasted in worthless stuff when there is so much beauty around us and we dont even take a min to contemplate

The last magic on Earth is the ability to move hearts and minds without laying a finger on another person. They are indeed magic.

How on earth can anyone Not be Listening while watching along...instead of worrying about Likes/Dislikes....?!?
Probably just a missclick...
the kids in the video
Good job cameraman.
We love your effort.
the land there is as beautiful and haunting as the music, it makes me cry.

Shit Im gonna cry again! The music just lights somewhere in the center of my chest and suddenly like a star, everything's exploding!
all the beauty of this planet seems to be in their hands when they play this song...
simplicity proves its perfection again...
such a beautiful country.

Sigr rós makes me think big and existential and sometimes I get depressed of what I understood.
Wow, for et nydelig landskap! =]
Passer Sigur Rós sin musikk perfekt!
Muy bueno la verdad EXELENTE...
if there is anything such thing as a god or goddess, i'm almost positive that sigur rós is their personal entertainment.

That dam at the bottom, it really gives me the creeps.
You have to understand that you are a rare breed. I commend you for being mature and having good taste.
MAGIC!
Me too, but in a good kind of way. Can't really put it to words. It's amazing how well this song sounds acousticly.
I keep planning to go. I *need* Iceland in my life right now. :)
melantonic men...
Back when they still had *Kjartan* and the *Amiina* group.
Im Glad Someone feels the same way
Il n'y a qu'un chose à faire, se laisser transporter par toute cette beauté
quite a great description
It's the same organ Jónsi plays in Heysátan.

Cried during this part.
a reason to live
Only hope
Iceland people are so beautiful!
brilliant
I've been to Iceland, but then I was an ignorant 13 year old and didn't give a damn about anything I saw there. I want to go back.
if only it could happen...people seems far to occupied who they have to fight next than actually working together to make it right.. maybe one day...
this all ways gets me so calmed, maybe if they play long enough people would forget all the stupid crap they do war about.
damn.. geweldig..
I think we can forgive them for their volcano, when they give us such nice music as this :-)
what wrong with their volcano?

@RAMSscape perhaps.
