I just recently played Satie's first Gnossienne at a small concert of my conservatoir. I can't help but to think at Paris when hearing Satie's pieces, full of emotions. Excellent played Luke :)
Man! This music made me cry! I don't know why I cried but it just...was soo soothing and calming that I could no longer shut the feelings that I had been holding inside my head for soo long. Dude. You are beautiful. Your music is beautiful. I hope you reach to the pinnacle of your career. Best of luck!
I didn't know about these recordings of yours, I just discovered them. They are very beautiful and fit very well to listen now in winter. The choice of painting with snowy Paris also helps with this. Really soft, dreamy, I like them. Congratulation Luke! 💐
That painting caught my eye! I believe that painting is used on the cover of a book that my mom had when I was a little child. She had bought it in her younger years because she adored all things French (and eventually went to Paris and also became a French teacher). We were so lucky to grow up with many books on our home, all a wonderment. ❤
You know how I adored your playing of Pärt's Spiegel im Spiegel. Satie's the master (right ?) Your softer take on Satie's work; so peaceful so uplifting. Worth risking the minefield to tell you how much I enjoy your piano playing. Your performances make me feel so happy and contented. Thank you Luke. PS Whatever softness the manip of the piano entailed, to my untrained ear it worked ! Blissfully . . .
Time flies relentlessly. Our lives are not as we would like them to be, but this masterpiece reminds us to do our best and live out our short, fleeting lives of less than 100 years
Man these time were so much simpler not easier but less complicated time to live. Time with excellent art painting, music, culture and culture where man wore hats and tilted them to say hello and those great women hats. Les boulevardier the age of absinthe I close my eyes and dreams of this time forgotten listening to satie
Does anyone know the artist who painted this? I've been staring at it and just going through the obvious thoughts one has listening to this composition.. the feel of the snow falling, the people passing by me in the cold.. the snow falling softly on the stone walls and bridge. So beautiful
This exquisite piece is played so beautifully, and has been my go-to bit of music to work to and relax by for many months - until now. Suddenly there are endless ads popping up for Grammarly. What a shame - it completely ruins the mood. What has changed, I wonder? I will persevere for now, but I hate the harsh noise of adverts so I won't tolerate that for long.
I realized now why I love winter. Winters chill is the opposition to the life love and warmth that is radiant within my body heart and soul. It is a time of when all should be still and silent but I will never be silent but against all odds, at play
This is such a beautiful piece unfortunately the sound in the version of this great piece has been ruined by whoever put it together. A great piece should be listen to on a great sound system

Who's the pianist? That's the most important part of hearing this beautiful work.
Is it you, Luke?

To me it’s a music where I feel it’s sad and beautiful with a sense of hope and just reminds me of ordinary life
I love soft piano sound
I have no idea why, but that piano gives me some Kingdom Hearts vibes. It's very nostalgic. Thanks for the upload.
Yay new video ! 💖💖
Sweet and dynamic creates the work of art defining this music. We need this today.

Love, love this piece ☺️🦋🎶❣️
Absolutely beautiful !!!! The softer sound fits Satie's music perfectly, it makes it sound a bit more melacholic - I love it.
Woww, I juat discovered this hidden gem of a RUclips channel! You play wonderfully, Luke. Looking forward to exploring the rest of your music :)
Super klasyka zimowych spacerów w Paryżu Satiego i miękkie piano to innowacja której potrzeba zagonionym ludziom współczesności do szczęścia
Ah! Just the right length for an uninterrupted work session.
So beautiful, soft and touching. Ty for sharing :)

The only gnossienne that I have problem with is the gnossienne 6.
I was a bit confused when I first played it. It bears little resemblance to the others.
