I never knew Indiana Jones cosplay was a thing until this video was recommended to me by RUclips. 😆 I'm not surprised though since there's pretty much a cosplayer for everything. I think the shirt with the buttons and straps at the top looks better. The whip action on the other video looked pretty legit. I wonder how many times you've been Mr. Jones for Halloween. You just have to watch out for you know who. 😧
Glad it turned out to be a decent shirt! But for the price, isn’t it just easier to get a Wested original? (Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought Wested’s was closer to an accurate Raiders shirt)
Yes, in the terms of screen accuracy Always go with the good stuff, Wested, What Price Glory, and Azuma. I was just wanting to share the first hand experience of owning this version of Indy's shirt for anyone who was interested but wanted a cosplayers POV.
Honestly, thank you for doing this review. I love the Azuma shirt but he doesn't really make them for the Indy fans who are bigger in the chest and waist. My shirt by default has been the WPG, but this shirt looks like a great fit. I will certainly give it a try myself now.
It's always good to have another option for cosplay or just plan wearing. A lot of us tweak our shirts and jackets to our liking anyway. I think some people just like to complain.
hi there. and fotune and glory to you all. i am from Denmark🇩🇰 and i have been a fan of the indiana jones film, since i saw raiders and the lost ark in 1982 on vhs video, when i was 9 years old. it’s realy cool to se devoted fans like you, trent and kirk. do you have a community or somthing like that.? sincerely Per
Hello! Yes, Trent, Kirk, Myself, and many, many more belong to several Indiana Jones fan groups, such as California Jones, its sister organization, Colorado Jones, and Raiders of the Lost Cosplay, just to name a few. All of which and more can be found on Facebook.
I was liking the shirt until I heard the fabric blend. I'm not big on the use of that much synthetic material if I can help it. Edit: Disney lists the shirt as 100% cotton.
I am autistic so I’m not allowed to have a job like normal people to pay for things. I was wondering if you could help steer me in the rite direction on gettting my very first Indy hat? I have $65 saved up now so the hat needs to be the same amount of money. I would love a professional cosplayers opinion on what I should by and what hat not to by! Do you have Indys whip two? They are sooo awesome!
I would say keep saving your money and try to go for an ADVintage Harrison Fedora. They are a bit more economical but still excellent hats. Also, look into Akubra hats Federation VI model. I do have indy bullwhips and plan to make a separate video on all of them.
I get a "Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb" vibe out of the Disney shirt. That's awesome.
That is the best description of this shirt and probably why I love it so much! Played that game for two straight years it was so good!
