This is good. I should do same to my 95 Bronco. I just had one of the easiest ever fixes the other day. My 96 f150 AC clutch was toast needed to replace it. Too 5 minutes and an 8mm socket, and that's all.

My only complaint for you is that I would have liked to see the way to do this without taking the beam off and doing it under the truck. Do you have any suggestions on how to do it that way? Thanks man!🤙 definitely sounds like you need to replace your bushings. Definitely a valid complaint. These beams are for my four-wheel-drive swap. Currently I have the 2 Wheel Dr. beams on my truck now. Between the two videos you should be able to figure out how to change the bushings. The process is similar between 2wd and 4wd.
Hey steve i got 2 questions, first, do both beams use the same bushing? And also do i need to remove the springs and shocks? Or can i just jack up the beam and wiggle the bolt out and let it drop
And also I'm going with oem rubber bushing for my axel pivot and radius arm bushing and j wanted to know if I need to grease anything up, your help is much appreciated steve!!
When I replaced mine years ago, I unbolted the top of the coil spring and shock to do the axle pivot bushing. Quite a few viewer have told me they just used a pry bar to pull the beam down out of the axle pivot bracket.
I ended up burning out the inner rubber bushing with a propane torch and removing that and then cutting two slots in the sleeve of the bushing to get the old one out for mine as I had to do it while on the truck. Then a pair of needle nose to pry out the two pieces. Oh I see now you mentioned the method I used at the end there.

Would this cause clunking only backing up while turning or only sometimes while braking, the passenger tire is also wearing on the outside even after doing an alignment. I’ve been trying to figure it out for months looked up underneath and haven’t really seen anything tried balljoint/wheel bearing assessment on jack stands and there’s really no play that I can feel in it. It’s a 2wd 95 f350
These can definitely cause weird clunks and so can the radius arm bushings if they are worn. I would also make sure other wearable joints are good to go i.e. tie rod ends. I would also make sure the spring is tight as well.
I'm putting in all polyurethane bushings right now. It was 90 here today so I think they will work. You should tag those beams with some of that Ford base and 2K, that would look clean.
Yes. Your Dana 50 with drop downs will show at a distance. If it's smooth and glossy it will be easier to clean and it will look sweet. You could paint it bright green and go for a Joker look but I would stick with purple.
I'm painting my suspension right now with Rust-Oleum oil based pro paint. You can get a variety of colors off the shelf and mix them to make custom colors. UnitedStatesofBuild has some really good tips on painting. Between Harbor Freight and Home Depot you could be painting this weekend if you can get your hands on some 2-part hardener. Skip the clear coat.
So when i installed mine I got the energy suspension poly bushings and they didn’t come with a new outter metal sleeves so I just burnt the old rubber one out of the sleeve in the beam and put the new poly bushings inside the existing sleeve still in the beam. Hope I did it right. It does ride good 😂
@@glasshammer291 Neither. I was in a youth Navy program called Sea Cadets for 15 years. As such, I was on US military bases all the time. Lots of vets returning or going to Iraq or Afghanistan were wearing them for their nature defense against sun, sand, and the cold. Military suppliers start producing them in the typical military/tactical colors black, olive green, coyote, tan, etc. I bought a tan and green and started wearing it for fields ops. Since then, I haven’t stopped wearing them.🤷♂️

There are muslim, christian, jewish, athiest palestinians and beyond.. it's a National symbol.. nothing to do with politics or Religion.
I will be watching with much interest. Did this for my bronco and it was a struggle session that lasted a few days.
It was incredibly easy for me. Granted it does help having the beams out from under the truck.

You can always grease the inside of the shaft of the axle pivot bushing where the bolt threads through.

Could be the radius area. Really bad ball joints can make clunk noises too.
