I’m a 2 foot jumper and I really struggle with max approach speed because I don’t think I can handle that eccentric loading during the plant and block phases before take off. this angle of planting looks so insane, it looks like if anything id lose vertical...but that is why you can dunk and i can't even touch rim i guess lol
It's taken a lot of time haha. The angle accentuates it to. Good logic, be careful copying pro jumpers "technique" It is often a result of their physical tools and not necessarily cues to do the movement. If you do take something away from the video though just start training the aspects involved in the early stages at whatever level you can. Jump and lift a lot good luck man.
