    Hi love. If you fry your onions properly (until brownish) on a pan before putting any additional ingredients it will give you a boost of flavour! try it one day 😊

    Hi Sam, sorry i have been away, so I'm just catching up on your videos. I love your budget shopping meal plan etc. You create great ideas and tasty meals that you thankfully share with us all. You dont have to but you do. I for one am very grateful to you. Ive seen the odd ungrateful coment and i wonder why people are so rude. If they need bigger portions then obviously its going to cost more. My mind boggles xx

      Really appreciate this. Some of the comments I get do deter me a bit and stop me making videos at times. Think they forget we’re only human and it’s a hobby for me 🥲

    I’m confused…it says 56 meals and I assumed you meant 14x4 but the portion per person is so small…1/2 a stuffed pepper per person? 1 skewer per person? You put two on the plate but the ingredients would only allow 1 each for a family of 4?

    • @TheBudgetMumUK
      @TheBudgetMumUK  2 месяца назад +3

      Hi, yes, that’s right 😊
      Hadn’t meant the confusion by putting two on a plate, it just looked prettier than having one on there. This is more than enough for my family as 2 are children and would struggle to finish a whole portion anyway. I found with the rice the skewer was the perfect amount for us. That said, there would have been plenty more chicken left from my recipe ideas here to make more for the money. And, as I mentioned in the video, there was lots of the pepper mixture left over too. This could be added on the side if you wanted more. Hope that helps x

    I am confused. Mince beef, sausages and an entire chicken would be close to £15 on their own perhaps a bit less so how anyone can eat 56 meals for 30 quid for a family, I honestly don't know. Only two people are in my household, and we would never get 56 meals for 30 quid.
